I cannot express how impressed I am with this facility. Every parent dreads the daycare costs and fees but for most parents it's a necessity.I enrolled my son about 5 months ago and it has been an amazing experience. The director Maureen Corn is on point and so loving. All the teachers smile and love the kids as their own. I've never encountered a teacher having a bad day. You know your money is going toward their future when your 2 year old comes home saying words like "important", "femur", "patella", "trapezoid" AND can sing his alphabet as well as count his numbers. They also have a PreciouStatus app that allows you to follow your child all day long. Love it, no regrets!!!!!!Phyllis

An update to my review last year. We are still so thrilled to have our children enrolled at this facility. The staff treat my kids like family. Both our children, age six and three, love everything about going to La Petite. From the summer program, packed with field trips, to the special classes the kids can take, we are in love with this place!

My 2.5 year old started here a few weeks ago and loves it! He tells me before school in the morning how excited he is to go. The staff is super nice and I love that I can see him during the day on the classroom camera. We are temporarily staying here with family while my husband is overseas and they were awesome about getting us a spot quickly and also gave a military discount. The part time option has been great. Wonderful place, highly recommend!!

Our family utilized this LPA location for daycare services for over 2.5 years. Both of our children were enrolled at this LPA once they were each 3 months old, and we only recently left because we are moved out of state.We LOVED this LPA location and the staff made us feel that the feeling was mutual. Our oldest child was enrolled at this LPA for over two years, and our younger child was enrolled at this LPA for nearly one year. Our kids loved going to "school" every day, they ran to their "teachers" and some days they did not want to leave to go home and we had to have the staff help us to get them into the car! The quality of the staff, their credentials and their teaching abilities is top notch, and we've discovered since we moved to a new daycare in another state that LPA really pushed out kids academically and developmentally speaking our kids are currently ahead of their peers and have already advanced a class or two at their new daycare. We were able to develop close, professional yet nearly personal relationships with the staff at this LPA location and we even had some staff persons babysit our kids from time to time which was tremendously helpful since we knew that those persons were CPR-certified, background-checked, credentialed and certified AND they knew our kids better than anyone else besides us. We really appreciated the daily progress reports regarding the activities and meals that our kids experienced, and also if there were any incidents that day that we needed to know about. We had very few of those incidents over the years, mostly head-bumps or knee-scuffs, etc., but we always felt well-informed and that the staff always took appropriate steps to address the situation. We also sincerely enjoyed the "work" that LPA sent home with our kids that showed us some of the projects and lessons that they had worked on that day or week in school. We have boxes of treasured art work and lesson work that we will one day share with our kids once they are old enough to appreciate it, and much of that work comes with pictures of our kids doing the work or just having fun at LPA with their teachers and friends. It's a ton of happy memories.To say that this location's staff was accommodating to our family's needs is understating their commitment. We never had an issue with our occasional special requests, and the staff was forthcoming with offers to assist us if they could tell that our situation was demanding it. We never had a bad interaction with a staff person at this location, and regularly we were greeted with smiles, warm hello's and meaningful conversation. The same goes for the daily goodbye's, as well.We miss this LPA and the relationships our family built with it's staff. Our oldest child still asks us about her teacher on a regular basis, and we plan on bringing our kids back to this LPA to visit every time we come back to Overland Park to visit family. We still connect with some of this location's staff persons on social media and share pictures and stories to keep them up to date on our kids development. We're also struggling a little bit that our new daycare in our new home state is not quite up to the level of this LPA, and because of that we're looking at a much more expensive Montessori option which is not ideal (financially) but may be necessary because we don't want to see our kids developmental trajectory trend down from the wonderful upward path that LPA set them out on.A sincere thanks and thumbs-up shout out to the Stanley, KS La Petite Academy and it's staff. We have been a La Petite-Stanely family for almost 4 years and couldn't be happier with our choice. We arrived at La Petite after a dreadful home daycare experience. Ms. Mandy and her staff welcomed us with open arms. The teachers, who are all fantastic, dedicate themselves to making sure that each and every child feels important and loved. Every day is filled with educational activities and lots of fun. I've seen some of the biggest smiles on my kids faces while at La Petite. As a working parent, there's no greater feeling than knowing your kids are well cared for, safe, and happy! They re starting a new program this fall with enrichment classes, including Stretch-n-Grow, Music and Me, phonics, cooking, and Spanish, offered every day. We can't wait!! Ms. Mandy has done a wonderful job of putting together a great staff and creating a warm, friendly environment for our kids.

LaPetite has been a part of our family for 9 years. Our kids, ages 7 and 9, enjoy the many activities the school has to offer. Ms. Mandy has done a great job! Thanks for everything you go!

Our two boys have been at the school for over two years and we could not be more happy. They love all the teachers and are learning everyday. They are always doing special actitivies that are both fun and a great way to learn. My kids are never bored. It is a great place for your kids!!
