La Nonna Italian Restaurant

This was a wonderful choice for us while visiting relatives in Kansas we discovered La Nonna's. We went early to avoid the rush and I'm glad we did because they filled up right away. Our waitress was delightful (from Albania), the food was luscious, my wife ordered the lobster ravioli and cleaned her plate. I opted for the Frutti de Mare (fruit of the sea) that was pasta full of shrimp, squid, mussels, scallops, in a wonderful succulent sauce. Our main entree was enhanced with warm bread rolls accompanied with olive oil dip which was a treat all of its own.If you're in Belton, Mo., don't miss out of La Nonna's Italian Restaurant, you owe it to your taste buds.

We stopped at La Nonna's just trying something we didn't have in Oklahoma and boy are we glad we did! My 10 year old loves Italian food and he picked it. It is a small, quiet restaurant with great service. I was excited to see that there was a burrata appetizer. In fact so excited I forgot to take a picture before we dug in! It was delicious and fresh. You also get garlic knots and dipping oil. Was also amazing. My husband and I couldn't decide what to get so we just got 2 dishes and tried both. They were both very good and would definitely get either again. We left full and happy. So if you are looking for a one of a kind place, check out La Nonna!

Fantastic food, great people. Casual dining. Stuffed mushrooms are fabulous. Italian wedding cake are worth saving room for.

We arrived around 6pm on a Wednesday and were seated quickly. There front desk girl was smiley and welcomed us in. Our waitress arrived shortly after, she was also friendly and efficient the whole time. We ordered bruschetta, lasagna, rigatoni alla vodka, seafood papardelle, and pepperoni pizza. Everything was excellent and portions were large enough, but not massive (but the lasagne was actually pretty big). Big enough that we were pretty full when we left! Pasta was cooked well, and the meats/seafood in the dishes was plentiful. We'd definitely make the drive over and return again!

Not bad but not worthy of the shining 4.7 stars it has acquired on Yelp and Google Maps. The staff is so nice and I so wanted to love this little joint, but the food quality wasn't much higher than your local Maggiano's or Olive Garden, and at a much higher price point considering how portion size. The mushrooms in the Paesano were gummy, and the Veal Parmigiana was soggy and tasted like old frying oil. The bruschetta was good, but we paid $9 for $2 worth of tomato and basil. If you're looking for good Italian in the KC metro, check out North Italia in Leawood, Farina in downtown KC, and Cupini's in Westport.

Honestly, some of the best italian food I've had. The flavor of the sauce is outstanding. And the protein portions are pretty generous. It's also a large portion, so I took half home for leftovers. The inside isn't anything fancy, but don't let that fool you on expectations of the food. They are pretty busy for weekend dinners so suggest making a reservation.

Delicious bread to start out with. The chicken parm was giant. I got that and my boyfriend got the pasta sampler which was less food than the chicken parm surprisingly. The service was great for This small Italian restaurant. Tasted better fresh than as leftovers.

Great place for a Saturday night dinner. Nice low key place with large portions & reasonably priced. Great service!

What a great spot to spend our anniversary! The music was great, the server was so nice and pleasant. A basket of bread was given to us after ordering. I ordered the Prosecco and the Pasta Sampler (I just couldn't decide!). My fiancé ordered the Stromboli. It was very filling!! I'm pretty sure we will come back. This was a really nice experience. There were several items on the menu I was interested in, so I'll need to come back and try those.

This is a nice place to go when you're in the mood for Italian food. It's quaint & the food is good service too.
