Warm welcome walking into a wonderful smelling restaurant, that was our first impression! The establishment is beautiful, bright, cheery, and homey. There are a lot of different seating options, the swings are the kids favorite. The crepe was super light and just melted in our mouths and the fruit was fresh, which was fantastic, we had the number one seller with Nutella. We will be back to try all the other options. I can't wait to try a savory crepe.

This place was so good and cute. The staff were really sweet and sincere. They helped us pick out what to get (too many delicious options). The crepe was enormous. We split it between two people and still took of it to go. We're excited to go back and try savory crepes next time!

This was our first time at this hidden gem. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful. So many choices of crepes, ice cream, smoothies, waffles, nachos, savory options, sweet options and so much more. We were greeted with a smile and given a run down of the menu. The crepes do take a little longer than most of the menu to create. But they are well worth the wait. My daughter had the churros (choice of chocolate, strawberry or caramel sauce). They were tasty. My son had the pina colada crepe. Tasted just like the drink. My husband had the Le Fresca crepe. And I tried the Spread and top crepe with vanilla creme and pineapple. But was given nutella with strawberries instead. It may not have been what I ordered exactly but it was very tasty. We ended up bringing home leftovers. These are not tiny crepes. We will definitely go back and try more deliciousness.

HEY KC! I have a top crepe alert for you! Pure imported chocolate blanketing large crepes filled with more delicious fillings...La Fresca is arguably one of the best chocolate spots in the KC area. Take your pick between sweet or savory. Fresh fruit, Oreos, turkey & cheese, creamy custard...the filling is up to you. Along with tasty crepes, you can order fresh juices, get fit juices, fresh (never frozen) smoothies, coffees, a largeeee spread of ice cream & more from the menu! I ordered a crepe loaded with pineapple, strawberries, & chocolate. I also ordered the Berlin Juice La Fresca Special: three layered smoothie with avocado, mango, and strawberry banana flavors. This spot is owned & operated by a hardworking & sweet Mediterranean family. They take great pride in their establishment & ability to provide top quality chocolate. Add La Fresca to your KC Bucket List!

We were in the area yesterday and since I'd been seeing this all over social media, we decided to stop in. First impressions, the shop is very stylishly decorated with a spot to get some photos for SM and the staff was extremely friendly. We decided we'd each get our own crepe which in hindsight we didn't need to do, plus it's not a cheap place, so I'd definitely split in the future. For reference, you order at the counter, they give you a number and then deliver to your table. I got the La Fresca Crepe and my boyfriend got the Red Velvet Crepe. Mine was really tasty. They were out of kiwi so I swapped in mango. It is a generous portion and I took about a third home. My boyfriend liked his, I found it a bit too sweet. He ended up finishing his because it would not have done well as a leftover. We really enjoyed our visit, but again it was quite costly (mine was $14 before tip) and it's just not convenient for me. if I were in the area and feeling like something sweet, I would definitely consider going again but as it stands, I'm not sure if we'll ever go back. Just not quite craveable enough for me to come from downtown OP.

Heard there was a new crepe place in Olathe and had to come down to try it! My friend and I shared a crepe with custard, banana, strawberry, kiwi, and chocolate. La Fresca's crepe is a thicker style than the other crepes around KC, which tend to favor multiple layers of thin crepes rather than one large one. Whether you love La Fresca or not mostly depends on personal preference. I really liked the texture and chew to this crepe, but I did wish they had lighter options for them. All the sweet crepes are drenched in melted chocolate and already have a very sweet filling of ice cream, custard, or nutella. Overall, it was just a bit too sweet for me. Flavor aside, the service was on the slow side even though we were the only people there, and the price point was high at $12.99 for our crepe. Not my best experience at a restaurant, but all things considered, if the crepe style and the menu items speak to you, I'd definitely say go try it! If you're looking for a lighter, thinner crepe, I'd recommend French Market for sweet crepes and Seven Swans Creperie for their savory ones.

So... finding this place was unexpected. I was scrolling through my socials the other day and saw a post for a local shop specializing in crepes and ice cream... I made a mental note, and kept on scrolling. Then it showed up again... and again... so I surfed over to their site and saw pictures of DECADENT desserts along with a smattering of savory choices. Honestly, knowing the neighborhood and strip mall where this was located, I wondered if the photos could be accurate. But, there was enough interest that my wife and I went tonight to check it out. The shop is small; only 5 tables and about 12 chairs. There were only two employees working, and both were super friendly, helping us make our selections. We ordered the Gyro Crepe, the Pollo Loco, medium elote, red velvet crepe, and double scoop of ice cream. I expected a rich meal, but what I was not prepared for was the size of the portions. They were HUGE! We brought home more than half of every item! The food arrived slowly, as each item was being made in succession, one at a time. (Like I said, it's a small shop!) The gyro crepe was fine, but not outstanding. The Pollo Loco was very good. The red velvet was rich... very rich! The crepes were thin and light, the fruits were fresh, and the chocolate sauces were thick and DELICIOUS. My wife enjoyed the ice cream a lot, but for me, the star of the evening was the ELOTES! Served off the cob, it was like a parfait of corn, crema, and queso fresco. Topped with cayenne, it was an excellent and creative take on classic elotes. The proportions were spot on. I chatted with the workers again on our way out and asked them if business was going well. They told us they'd only been open about 6 months and said things were good, though recent traffic was much slower than it had been in the summer. If you read many of my reviews, you'll know how much I love it when a small business succeeds, especially in my local community. Here's hoping La Fresca KC has a long and prosperous future!

We tried La Fresca for dessert a couple of weeks ago. Staff are friendly and helpful, portions are huge, we took half home, atmosphere is fresh and clean, not sure the porch swing are practical seating as it's not super comfortable when eating but we managed, there are other tables with chairs. 3 of us ordered the pistachio crepe, kc crepe with strawberry and Nutella and the pina colada. All were tasty but way way too much chocolate on the top it's incredibly rich and saturated, honestly a heavy drizzle would be better - save money on the chocolate and lower the prices as they are too much for 1 person. I would definitely share next time. The coconut ice cream is the real deal coconut, the pistachio filling was pleasantly creamy with crispy bits - a bit thick, strawberries were sweet and fresh.
