Permanently Closed. Which is unfortunate, such a great place. Queztal will be taking over the location this Spring/Summer of 2025.

Yummy! My sister and I stopped in for their taco Tuesday special and it was delicious. We got some beef tacos & some qdip (espinaca). For being basic ground beef tacos, they were amazing. The dip was really good and their salsa was super. The restaurant was adorable and the servers were great too. They had some really cute murals on the walls too. If you're ever in Parkville, you his is a great place to check out!

This a newer Mexican restaurant in the Northland. We went on Saturday evening. The service was very good. The food was very tasty. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant atmosphere is okay. Looking forward to going and back trying another dish. This is restaurant is worth a visit.

Just ordered some food on DoorDash. I wanted to try something new. Standard Mexican restaurant. Didn't blow me away, didn't disappoint either. The rundown:My rating on a scale of 1-5Baja shrimp tacos 3.5Rice: 3Beans: 3Chips and salsa: 3 Overall: 3.1 rating If I was to make a suggestion. The Baja tacos had too much sauce and topping on them, which ruined the batter on the shrimp. I would try something else, but next time, I will go in and eat. Forgot to take pictures.

Taco Tuesday. Margaritas were tasty, and the food was good. Special was 3 for $5. Service needs help. Asked three times for hot salsa, went away empty handed.

I truly dislike leaving 1 star reviews but this experience was terrible. When we arrived we stood in the doorway for quite awhile waiting to be seated. No one greeted us and two employees just stared at us from the back of the restaurant. I didn't realize they were employees until after we were seated and one girl brought us chips and salsa. Then the waiting began again. Our drink orders were not taken at all. We sat there watching the people who were sat after us getting drinks and ordering, meanwhile we just sat there. We ended up leaving after our drink orders weren't taken. I was really excited to try this place and it was super disappointing. It didn't seem like they were understaffed, employees had a lack of urgency and awareness.

We did takeout and it was our 1st visit. It was very busy ( always a great sign) and the food was ready. We had a short commute 5-7 minutes and the food was tepid when we unpacked it upon arriving home. The servings were good and they have homemade chips and 2 types of salsa. The enchiladas were packed with chicken! We will hope to eat in next time and check out the margaritas & service

Overall this is delicious Mexican food! I will come back. The Angels enchiladas were tasty with chicken and white sauce. The black beans were just OK, but wished I had asked for refried beans instead. The rice was pretty plain, but it's just rice you'd expect from any Mexican restaurant. The chips are light and crunchy--very good texture. The salsa is great and very tasty. I enjoyed the chips & salsa. My friend loved her chicken chimichanga and said the cheese sauce on top was excellent. She'd have this again. Can't wait to visit again.

Came here last night for the first time and will definitely be back. This used to be another Mexican restaurant that previously shut down, this one replaces it well with delicious cheese dip and yummy margaritas.Thursdays are $5 house margaritas, on the rocks or blended. Served in a big glass and hit the spot. It was a night I was catching up with a girlfriend and our server was attentive but also let us casually linger. I got the #26 on the menu, my friend had a quesadilla. We both really liked the food and I even had leftovers.Ambiance is casual and nice. Side note: you can tell the salsa is homemade. It's got a sort of "smoky" chipotle taste to it and it's really good. Try it out, it's great to have a great option in the Northland for Mexican food again!

La Costa Mexicana opened two weeks ago in the Parkville Commons Shopping Center at 9 Highway and 45. A fellow Northland foodie told me she had heard great things about La Costa. Based on our first meal last night, they should do really well. Cassandra, who was our server, is also a co-owner of the restaurant with her husband. She's super proud of the drink menu which she created. Something she shared several times during our meal was how everything they serve is made in-house. There was great flavor from the Margaritas, the chips and salsa, to our entrees. The Burrito Sancho stuffed with grilled steak and smothered with white spinach cheese sauce was super filling and yummy. My wife loved the grilled chicken inside the Pollo Fundido. When we arrived around 6pm, the restaurant was about half full. I was surprised how fast the food was prepared. Gotta love that! I hope this new restaurant has great success, joining Nick & Jake's and Acre in this shopping center. Would love to see more creative, high-quality, local restauranteurs join them.
