Oh man, I'm all for small town business...but this was no bueno. Expensive. Staff wouldn't let us pull tables together for our group because of the fire marshal. We were there for an early dinner at 4:40pm on a Wednesday. The fire marshal? There seemed to be a few regulars trickle in, and they were warmly received. Interstate travel not so welcome I guess. Chips were good if you like the flimsy thin crispy type. Salsa was watery tomato paste. No thanks. I got the carnitas. Who can mess up pork butt? It was dry, bland, no thanks.

Worst doing experience ever. Never received chips and salsa. The margarita was a watered down drink. The sancho had beef in it that tasted rancid. The only decent part of the meal was the rice. They must be used to people telling them how bad their meal was, they didn't even try to make any of it right

Solid dinner choice on our road trip. Right down the street from our hotel so we did pick up, but the place looked nice and fun. Maybe a little on the pricy side but portions were large. We got the pork carnitas plate and veggie fajitas plate and split them. I've had more flavorful but these were not bad at all, and hit the spot. Felt like a pretty healthy dinner on the road. Kids got a taco and quesadilla and devoured them. Chips and salsa came with the meal- salsa was okay (hot wasn't very hot). Overall good stuff and service was friendly.

I ordered the menudo and this one was an easy 5 ! This is probably the most meat that I've ever had on a menudo bowl. I was famished so I gobbled it all up! My husband, on the other hand, ordered the pork steak dinner plate and was extremely disappointed with it. I took a bite of what he had and I have to agree. The pork had a weird funky taste to it. And the rice was a bit raw (a big NO for this Asian). 1 for his steak plate.

Great food not at all l what they call tex mex it's authentic mexican food this family restaurant has cooked this way for well over 63 years for I have had it for that long. Service great bunch of staff friendly and fast.ambiance is nice

This is my favorite restaurant ever. It is in need of serious cleaning lately, however. They need to shut down for a few days and have the place professionally cleaned. The floors need degreased. Management doesn't seem to be present anymore and it's showing. Makes me very sad!
