This is a sacred place to practice Kundalini yoga. I came here daily over the summer a couple of years ago and found a great deal of solace and healing. The space and instructors are warm and welcoming, making everyone feel at home.I wish the schedule was a bit more robust with a wider variety of classes, but I appreciate that most classes are small and the quality of instruction is high. They also offer free community classes on the full moon each month, which is a great opportunity to get a feel for the place and experience the energy. I'm so grateful we have such a top notch Kundalini center in KC!

I have gone to many different yoga studios and a lot of yoga classes over many years.Coming to this kundalini yoga center is definitely one of my favorite places to go. It is yoga for the mind body and soul to be healthy and whole. Each teacher and each class has a different style and emphasis. I love the Gong submersions and Full moon meditations.

Kundalini yoga is certainly different from what I am used to. Chanting. Singing. Fancy breathing. But it all works when your goal is to let yourself go and let go of your stuff. You have to let go to true immerse and participate. They make that easy to do here. Judgement is not something that people participate in here. I felt very comfortable in the carpeted studio and was very impressed by the gonging during the Shavasana (corpse pose). Walk ins are $12 as of this writing. That is reasonable. If you need the expand your practice into a different realm everyone once in a while, Kundalini is a good choice. Or you may make this your mainstay and do other types of yoga as your diversity. Doesn't matter. This is a good place.

This place is really great! All of the people are so warm & welcoming and the energy of this Ypga Studio is so calming & peaceful. I love getting off work from a crazy day and to walk in to this space and just...exhale. Most of the time they will end the yoga session with a meditation and then a delicious gong bath. (If you've never tried this or don't know what it is - you are in for a real treat!!) The classes are small & intimate with plenty of attention from the instructor. Be blessed and check out the Kundalini Yoga Center.

I am in love with the Kundalini yoga center. It is way more than a physical work out. It is like therapy. I'm hooked for life.

It is a bit of a haul, going to KC from Jeff, for yoga classes. But anytime I am in KC I make time to go by for classes. Wonderful facility, wonderful people.

I encourage everyone who hasn't tried Kundalini Yoga to take a class or two at the Center. There's no competition here as to who can do the asanas (postures) easier or better. You can do it! In fact, Kundalini yoga simply makes everything you do more effective. I am a 25 year practitioner of Hatha Yoga, and have taken Kundalini classes around the country, and the Kansas City Kundalini Yoga Center is the best. Did I mention the store in the center? Books, clothing, teas, and CD's can facilitate your knowledge and experience of Kundalini. Sometimes, students are served yogi tea after class - you can chat and get to know the owners and your classmates! The hospitable and friendly owners are always happy to answer any questions. Give Kundalini a try!

I am eternally unhappy with the yoga classes that I find as they feel imbalanced. All body no or very little mind/spirit. After happening accross some Kundalini yoga on TV, I was able to find this little gem right here in midtown!! It is a truly moving experience and I am so grateful to have found it.

My first visit here was my first Kundalini yoga class. Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. The environment was very relaxing and there was much positive energy. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in yoga/meditation.
