KJ's Pizzeria

The is a quaint little local place just on the west side of the KC metro. In full transparency - I look for 4 major things when it comes to pizza: 1- Green olives2- Hearty, tasty sauce3- A crust with some substance4- Green olivesKJ's has it all - including green olives! Not enough places offer green olives and this is a huge miss in my opinion. The pizza has always been ready on time and the service has been very friendly. Support this local business and get the green olives.

Delightful! I got the Mac and Cheese pizza and it was delish! If you are driving through de Soto that is one of the best spots! (Much better than the Pizza Hut lol)

Cute pizza place! We had the lunch special slices for $3.50 and my favorite was the crust- so delicious! The sauce was a little salty for my taste. Next time I will order a fresh pizza instead of a slice and then I might feel differently about it. The workers were friendly, and the decor was cute as well. Every small town needs a good pizza place, and as De Soto keeps growing in the future I am sure KJ's will continue to grow as well.

Great pizza, amazing homemade bread and soups. This is a family run business that takes pride in their products. Fresh ingredients and delicious pizza make me come back again and again.

We had a family gathering at my mom's in DeSoto and chose to order carry out from KJ's. I honestly have to say it is probably the best pizza I have had in the metro. It isn't NYC style, it isn't really any style it is just KJs style. The crust is perfect to hold any and all toppings you want but not so thick it takes away from the toppings. The cheese is smooth and stays on the pizza, it isn't stringy. The toppings are in abundance and fresh as can be. They have a very wide variety of meats and veggies as well as cheeses to choose from. We had six adults, two teen boys and two little ones. We ordered three large pizzas and two small pizzas. We had plenty of food with enough leftovers for the teens to take home for another meal. Pizzas were ready on time and everything was exactly as ordered.

Great pizza. Locally owned, not a chain. We ordered their meat lovers pizza, their jalapeño popper pizza and their "Za" of the week.

Great place for really great pizza, nice crust and unlike most pizza chains has actual toppings and great variety. Had the meat lovers, the smoked ham is the bomb. Worth the drive - has dining and pickup online. Has a website to view if you want to look it up

Great family-owned pizza place that sources local meets and veggies. Crust is similar to NY style, so love that, too. Fantastic hidden gem!
