If you're looking for a fair favorite, check out Kiylee Kakes at the food court in Independence center. There are SO many different flavors and toppings to select from. I opted for the fruity pebbles kake. It was topped with powdered sugar, cream cheese glaze, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a generous heap of fruity pebbles and whipped cream. It was everything you want in a funnel cake - crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The only no-so-great part was when they closed the lid to hand me to box, it smashed the ice cream, fruity pebbles and whipped cream enough that when I opened the box, it was all stuck to the lid.As a bonus, Monday - Friday they have $10 funnel cake specials (normally $12).

Kiylee Kakes has the best funnel cake/ice cream combo. My favorite is the brownie sundae. It's sooooooo delicious. The owners are kind, professional, and always willing to assist. This is a must try!! I promise you'll be back!!!!!

BEST FUNNEL CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD! That's big y'all! I'm a funnel cake connoisseur, if I do say so myself. This beat ever festival, carnival, etc. I found them in AT Home's parking lot in Lee's Summit on a Saturday! First, I love that the funnel cakes come in sizes. My mom and I decided to split a medium Oreo Dream Kake. This funnel cake had Oreos, cream cheese glaze, chocolate syrup , Cookies and Cream ice cream, and whip cream! When I opened the box and so this perfectly presented funnel cake I knew I made the right choice. The warmth from the cake mixed with the cold ice cream took me out! Like the blessings I felt with every bite was overwhelming. So much so ... that we ate the whole thing with no regrets what so ever about the amount of calories we were consuming lol. I can only hope to run into this food truck again and again! If I see them, I'm letting y'all know now that I'm pulling up with the quickness.

This cute lil house lookin trailer in the At Home parking lot in Lee's Summit caught my eye and being the nosey person that I am, I decided to pull in and check it out. The closer I got, the more my nosey nose got HAPPY, the aroma of those good ole funnel cakes filled my senses. Going over the menu it was a tough decision to make, old fashion funnel cake or try something new, hmmm! Well new won out and I went for the "Deep fried Cheesecake w/ Cream Cheese Drizzle"!!! All I can say is, it has become my little honey hole and I will return again and again!

Everything I've tried here has been top notch..but today I tried the chicken, and it took it to another level. Crispy, delicious, and pairs perfectly with the funnel kake. Once again y'all have made an amazing lunch hour for me, thank you.
