Kingston Lake Park

My clients at the group home I work at love going to the park and we enjoy trying out new parks. We chose to have a picnic at Kingston Lake Park today but unfortunately it was covered in bird poop. The amount of bird poop was astonishing.

This beautiful park has a fishing lake with three piers, a playground, a sheltered picnic area, a 0.53 mile trail around the lake, and a drinking fountain. Highway 69 is on the east edge of the park, so there is some noise. There were several joggers and walkers, and plenty of geese when I visited.

Beautiful park! There's parking, a small fishing lake, a shelter, several benches along the walking trail, and some playground equipment that looks well kept. It is near highway 69 but even along that side of the park the noise was minimal. We'll definitely be going back, only downside was there's no bathrooms and we only spotted one trash can.
