King Garden

It's actually called King's Garden. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Service: 5. But Food: 3. I can rate thusly given my love of and massive experience with Chinese food. This place has great flavors, however (for me, probably too much flavor, not the best raw ingredients), and seems to be doing brisk takeout business. The ambiance was not great: 2 stars. Overall, I would rate it 3 stars, boosted by the staff's pleasant attitude.Although this spot's closer, I'll most likely drive to a place (with a buffet) for Chinese food with somewhat better quality.

Service is always the best! Owners are usually up front working and sending out orders! They do excellent QC work! Food is our favorite. Love their flavors! If you're around Richmond and want some quality Chinese food! Give it a try!

This is great Chinese food. I ordered the chicken and mushrooms with fried rice. And an extra order of chicken fried rice. The food was hot and delicious and the portions were huge. At the very least 3 meals worth maybe 4. I ordered to go and that worked out perfect. Very fast. Great place

Prepared when you order Chinese. I ordered the sesame chicken which came with a little broccoli and a plate of white rice. Prepared as you order is truly better than a buffet! Service below average. No real waitress. They bring food to you and walk away. Still sesame chicken was very good and very sweet! Lots of boxes stacked in front area as well as behind counter.

Great wonton soup I wish the dishes could be a little more consistent, and maybe a buffet would really be appreciated in Richmond. But all in all a well rounded place to eat.

What Chinese restaurant uses instant rice? Shrimp fried rice that looked like it came from a box, tiny little shrimp and only a few of them. Lo Mein was okay, but was nothing but spaghetti noodles with soy sauce and some sesame oil, no veggies in either.The last time we had food from here, was about 5 years ago. My husband ordered the beef and broccoli. The beef was slimy. We had heard that it was under new management. Guess we heard wrong! We won't be back.

This place is awesome. Not the cleanest place, but the food is the most reliably good place to eat in town. I like how I can customize my dish by making chicken white meat or adding vegetables. Don't get stuck on ordering just one thing though, I've made a goal of ordering every item on the menu this year and have found some new favorites like the honey chicken and moo shu anything.

This is my favorite Chinese place! Whenever I'm in town I order from Kings Garden. After not being in Richmond for about a year, they still remembered me from my order. My favorites are Hunan Chicken Spicey Spicey and General Tso's, also Spicey Spicey. Mix it with an order of Diet Veggies with no sauce and no rice and I'm a happy, happy girl.Plus meets anyones budget. Good Food at an EXCELLENT price.If I had to knock it for anything, it would be all the boxes they have out front. But it doesn't affect their cooking or me going there.It's Number 1 on my list to go whenever I'm in town.

Great food in an out of a way place, the beef and mushrooms is amazing. Actually, we have not had a bad dish, oh and the spring rolls, yeah a must try. Richmond is lucky to have them.

Is this place visually appealing? No.Does this place have the best crab Rangoon? Hell yes.
