KC Maker Studio & Fabrics

The selection of quilting supplies was abundant. The help was able to find some material I needed and couldn't remember the designer. The store was clean, well lit, and very inviting. The window displays were well done.

The fabric selection at KC Maker Studio is fantastic! I appreciate their selection of up-to-date fabrics and useful notions. They also have a terrific selection of patterns for bags, quilts, and some clothing. They've recently expanded their classroom space and it is huge! Great class selection as well. Overall, I highly recommend this shop and all of the highly knowledgeable staffers. Best fabric shop in the area.

KC Maker is killing it! The fabric selection is BEAUTIFUL and is constantly growing. It's so bright with great examples hanging all of the adorable shop. The bag making supplies and patterns are endless. I think any quilter/sewist will find just what they need here, but the boutique-quality fabric is more modern. Patti even has a large supply of garment fabric and patterns. The employees are the friendliest staff in town. They are so knowledgeable about color and pattern. If you're living in the KC area and haven't been by, you need to. If you are from out of town, put this on your shop-hopping list. This is not your grandmother's fabric.

I love this store! Outstanding selection and high quality fabrics. They have a wide selection of fabrics that lean toward the "modern" side of quilting, which I appreciate. They have a very nice selection of sale fabrics, and their staff is helpful and pleasant. There's just a great vibe to this store.

This was my first visit to KC Maker Studio. I was blown away with the selection of fabric and notions that I was not aware that they were available locally. I know I will be visiting frequently. The staff was very knowledge about fabrics and able to assist me in find what I was looking for.

So glad I stumbled onto the store! Huge selection of quilting fabrics and patterns, small selection of garment fabrics and lots of bag making supplies and patterns. Definitely will be back on my next trip to KC.

Extremely disappointed in their machine quilting services as well as the owner's refusal to accept accountability for her carelessness. BE FOREWARNED: they now require customers to sign a disclaimer of liability concerning their machine quilting services.

Amazing fabric selection and the workers were soooo helpful and friendly!! I will never go to hobby lobby again!
