KC Cajun

Hi I just attended an event and met them and ATE their food - I can tell they are from Kenner LA, can't wait to get to the restaurant and dig into some chow !!! I love what I tasted will try more. Just attended the VIP kickoff for Kansas City restaurant week. what a great event hosted our local J Rieger & Monogram = beautiful location -- in addition the restaurants that were showcased were fabulous I love the new KC Cajun restaurant Mesop's tacos were fantastic!! I loved chatting hey with chef Andrew from Loews, can't wait to try more of his creations. Bamboo Penny .Kudos to too Sysco great chow!!!

I had ordered their Shrimp Alfredo and YUMMM!! I ordered to go and it was ready pretty fast! It came with a side of salad and garlic bread and it was delicious. The pasta had a huge portion but it was the right amount. When I went to go pick up the food they were super friendly and quick, definitely the best cajun food i've had in KC :)

Absolutely fire. My family got several items to try and share. We Ordered the Gumbo Deluxe - so flavorful. Shrimp was perfectly cooked. Any time I've ordered gumbo anywhere else the shrimp has always been over cooked. This was perfect. Ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo and it was as good as my grandmothers. No exaggeration and that says a LOT. Ordered the Parmesan Lemon Fries with Home Made Ranch. Fire. Ordered the Lemon Pepper wings. Fire. 10/10 would recommend.

I had the chicken and sausage pasta it was delicious will definitely visit again! Friendly staff and easy to call in a order to pick up.

Good Cajun food. The gumbo is bomb and they aren't stingy with the shrimp. Their chicken wings are a nice size as well. I had the seafood nachos and they were really good, I feel like if they incorporated cilantro into their nachos it woulda been flame, but still good. Good value. Polite staff, I didn't even have to call it was brought to my car. I love black owned business that doesn't act like I'm a bother by eating at their establishment. Would recommend.

Ashley is doing it right. My favorite restaurant in the world. Get the Seafood Fries, the Shrimp Po Boy and the Chicken and Sausage gumbo. Thank you!!!

Absolutely loved everything I got. Tried the shrimp po boy with a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was fresh and flavorful.

Absolutely not!! There should be a negative star system for below average or non-service! Waited 2 weeks for this food truck to patronize our business location. One of the workers became very rude when asked a question about the preparation of a menu item. After serving 2 people in the line he stated "I am not about to do this with you"! Handed her money back, said "we are going to serve the people who ordered and then we are out", and slammed the window! Highly unprofessional from a service-oriented establishment. Be mindful of who you choose to support! I for one will not patronize this business!!Matt A.

Their food truck came to Corporate Woods this week. The food might have been good - but the gumbo was so salty it was inedible! It was like they salted it about 4 times as much as it needed. Horrible.

My husband and I visited the food truck at First Friday and I got the shrimp Po' Boy and he got the seafood fries and both were delicious. The food was well seasoned and since there was now a restaurant for carry out, we went the following day and got the seafood Alfredo and gumbo! Omg!!! So much seafood and again very seasoned. The customer service was also great. We have been back another time since this. I would recommend this place.
