What a fun way for a 6 year old to spend his birthday money! There was a bit of overstock, which made all of the shelves feel very crowded. Overall, the staff were very kind and helpful, and they had a ton of really cool sets! Some pre-built, and some in boxes. We will definitely be back, especially if we need a specific part or piece because they have a great mixed bin that you can sort through and pay per pound.

My brother in law is a Lego addict, but in the best way possible, as in he has a talent and passion for building the most intricate Lego sets. Since this is one of his biggest hobbies, during a recent family brunch he told all of us that he was headed across the street after eating to check out KC Brick Store. Our family is pretty big, with tons of kids and once the word "Legos" was muttered, we all had to go or face the reality of several meltdowns from the little ones in the group. KC Brick Store is a used lego retailer. This is great for a few things, it's wonderful if you're on the hunt for a deal for a kid that you know won't care that a set has been loved previously, or if you are a collector looking for a discontinued set, they might have you covered there. They also have cases and cases of little unique Lego figures, and all kinds of odds and ends. The only reason I'm giving this place four out of five is because it's super cramped in there with tons of glass display cases. I know it's a store that likely caters more to the collector than the child, however, since Legos are toys at their core I do wish the store itself was a bit more child friendly. Bottom line: It's a very cool concept, and I could certainly see us returning when we're in the area to see what they have. We left with a few duplos for our daughter and felt like the pricing was fair.

What a cool Lego store! I love visiting here just to see what new sets they have and what new already built sets are on display. Even from the 2nd to last time I visited to the most recent, they had a lot more to see! The staff is always working diligently on a Lego project and are very friendly too. I know they have some pretty expensive pieces but pretty comparable to eBay prices. I definitely recommend this store to anyone looking to buy older Lego sets (and minifigs), already complete sets, and if you want to sell/trade anything, this is the store!

The KC brick store is amazing! The staff is friendly and kind to kids and adults hunting for Lego bricks and sets. My son asked on our first visit what their favorite genre of Lego was and every staff member chimed in quickly and adamantly about their favorite genre of Legos. This is one of my highest values in Lego and toy related stores, that the staff are just as into the toys as the kids are. They have an excellent selection of vintage Lego sets in box m, pre-built Lego sets - vintage and new, and even a few new Lego sets. My favorite thing is that you can buy bags for $9.99 of assorted colors or technics pieces or animals or.... as well as shop many many bins worth of loose Legos for pieces by the pound. The prices are good and they have an awesome selection. They have an incredible selection of mini figures, and 3-D printed mini figure display cases, rare mini figures including the rarest Boba Fett figure in all of Star Wars Lego. they also will buy Lego, by the pound, a set that you have, mini figures or just random valuable pieces. My son brought some Bionicle helmets that he knew were rare and made 20 bucks on two helmets. If you like Lego and live within 100 miles of here you need to come check out the store.

Great little store! So fun and inspiring to look around at all the wonderful ideas. We ended up getting their random 1lb boxes for my nephews for Christmas. We had hours of fun building with the random pieces!

Great place for unique and older sets as well as to buy/sell bulk Legos. Prices are competitive and fair.
