Katarina's Homestyle Cafe

Great stop for lunch on the Katy Trail from Sedalia to Boonville. Fried pickles, burgers, tots, and pie with ice cream made for great lunch. Friendly and great service.

This little gem is well worth the 6 mile detour off I-70! We were planning to have lunch in Columbia but got hungry, and Yelp steered us here. Delicious food and such lovely, friendly people! The burger was juicy and flavorful, the sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked, and the chili was darned good. But the pie! Be sure to save room for the pie of the day!

This tiny joint, right off the Katy, is just what we wanted--quaint, with fresh, homecookin'. We both just had burgers, so I can't comment on much else, but the staff (I think there were just two people working there) were friendly and food was served hot. We asked for "everything" on the burgers and just got pickle, onion and lettuce (ketchup and mustard were on the table). I guess "everything" can mean something different to some.

Ahhh...Yeahhh!!!Wish we would have come here for our anniversary-look at that prime rib!!!I will be coming back here from Columbia.

This is a small town cafe with that hometown feel. The burgers were good and the fries were crisp. Service was quick and the price was reasonable.

We arrived very hungry and Thursday after a long day riding the Katy Bicycle Trail. We were very pleased to find this restaurant and to have delicious food , great service and friendly atmosphere. The pie was to die for.

Home style cooking in a cute little hometown community restaurant. Avoid 12-1:00 if possible.

Great little place right off the Katy Trail! I'm not the biggest fan of home style food but the waitress was so nice and accommodating and the food was super hot and came out quick. It was delicious and we really enjoyed our stop.

Love this restaurant! Owner is amazing, with great staff. If you want fast food, this is not your place. Very small with "hometown" menu. Amazing pies!
