Karma Tribe Yoga is an amazing yoga studio. Lauren owns the studio and she's an amazing instructor. I love taking all of her classes. She makes you feel so comfortable and challenges me just enough physically and mentally. She's so down to earth and funny. The studio has a variety of classes for beginners and advanced yogis. There are multiple events, such as hiking and yoga or headstand clinics. They even held a yoga teacher training program this year. The donation based yoga really builds a sense of community for this studio. I want to keep this place a secret, but this place really deserves 5 stars and to thrive!

This is a great studio. I'm visiting from San Francisco/Oakland and needed a place to practice. I chose here only because of the proximity, however I was completely impressed. I can honestly say it was one of the better yoga experiences I've had in my year of practicing weekly. The studio itself is perfectly designed. Calming and simple. Some nice murals and a wonderful water sculpture. The lights were left low, which is my preference. The class itself was a standard vinyasa flow. The teacher (I forgot her name, but she is an owner) definitely knew what she was doing and led the class confidently but with a nice sense of humor. The set was challenging in just the right way. For the poses I knew were be beyond my current practice, we were offered alternatives. My favorite aspect of the studio is that they keep the spiritual aspect of the practice in place (but not overbearingly so). You are reminded to stay present. You close with OM. I have a hard time with teachers who treat this like its solely an aerobics class. This is not the case here. Planning on going back any time I'm in KC.

So this place is great. They finally got a permanent location but for anybody who is into the Kansas City Yoga scene, they are responsible for quite a few of the pop up yoga that happens around here. So they finally got a space! It's in the historic Firestone building with an amazing view. Every teacher I've practiced under are knowledgeable and graceful. There's a bathroom down the hall to change if you come from work (like I do) and there are cubbies for your things. They don't charge but ask for a $5-$15 donation. There is a place on their website you can give or they do take cards using Square. They provide blankets and mats too if you don't have one/ forgot it. I have enjoyed every experience I've ever had here, have incorporated it into my own yoga practice on a regular basis, and have invited all my yoga friends to join. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Very nice place, I love the atmosphere and feeling you get when you walk into this place. Although for some reason the address takes me up about a mile past the space.

I showed up for the Animal Flow class, not knowing what to expect at all. I came with an open mind and a grateful heart, eager to try something new. We did lots of fun poses and flows that were completely new to me. I plan to incorporate some of them into my own teaching practice at home. Our instructor was knowledgeable, friendly and fun as he lead us through the class. I would definitely try this again if given the opportunity.

For all the travelers living in KC, this is the place to go for yoga! Since I am always on the road for work, I cannot justify paying for a membership anywhere. Karma Tribe is donation based, so just drop in and pay what you can. The instructors always ask what type of practice you're looking for that day and try to tailor to everyone's needs. I always leave feeling free, peaceful, and completely stretched out. Thank you KTY for being my saving grace. #KTY

A nice urban space occupied by excellent instructors for each yoga practice and journey. There are a variety of classes... Generally 7 days a week. Lauren is a treasure of a woman and I really enjoy her classes.

Knowledgeable teacher and good yoga class, although I wish there were mirrors so I could better see what the teacher/others are doing, and parking... You can sign up on Classpass (http://class.ps/nBeID) and get a month of free yoga classes (some of which you can use here), which is awesome. I'd definitely go back.

I go to this yoga studio about 1x per month. It is very small, but the studio is very clean and nicely decorated. They have all the necessary equipment and lockers, but you can bring your own too. They have a good variety of yoga classes and teachers. It may take few visits to determine your favorite, but generally they are all pretty good. Prices for classes are reasonable.
