These people are super unorganized. They cut our game then cut us from the schedule for not showing up to said game that they rescheduled. These people suck, then no body gets refunds, we just get a credit to another league. Why would I want to play in a league where they cut our team out of after one game that they told us was cancelled. Stupid. The first game they didn't even have any equipment and had to postpone 30 min. It's kickball, not rocket science, you show up with balls on time. Carlos is a joke. In the end, this was a terrible experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

This league has been the best league in the city ever since the new owners took over four or five years ago. It's true that it was pretty awful under the prior ownership, however the new owners have vastly improved everything to the point that it is now the cheapest and most fun league around. Penn Valley Park (by the Liberty Memorial) is a fantastic location, communication and schedule updates are prompt, quality t-shirts and umpires are included in the cost, and there's even some jackhole that catches fly balls beverage in hand! I've been playing for 20+ years in various leagues (15+ in kickball) and this league is my favorite. Thursday nights are a bit more on the recreational side (my preference) and Wednesday nights are a bit more competitive, however all nights provide a more social atmosphere than other leagues that I've been a part of. Anyone can sign up as a free agent and settle in on a team that fits them. (Our team is one of several that regularly takes on new folks)

This organization, while a fun way to meet new people and stay active through participating in their coed sports teams like softball, kickball, and flag football, is not the most affordable. $350-$400 per team is a lot of money to shell out to play a sport for only a few weeks. There are many other leagues and groups in town offering the same sports activities for far less money. Just check your local community center. In addition, this organization has a history of not adequately communicating with teams and frequently forgets to properly notify teams of schedule/venue changes and the cancellation of events. Getting them to return calls or emails is difficult at best.

I've been involved in multiple leagues in this club and they are VERY unorganized. Just as an example, tomorrow is the supposedly the start of kickball league and the schedule hasn't even been posted or sent out to teams. It's fun and cheap but I'd suggest going to other leagues to save on communication hassle.
