Making fudge and caramel.

Obviously what drew me into Kansas City Fudge was the overwhelming smell in the hallway. Anytime there's a fudge store, you have to stop and try some samples! The store itself is pretty small, but it is airy and coincidentally has a bunch of TVs playing Kansas City Fudge's appearance on the Food Network on loop. The fudge is rather good, and I like the fact that they make it right in front of you. I don't really know how fudge is made, so it was interesting to see. They also make caramel right in front of you as well, so there's that.I will say that they had a big display allegedly advertising chocolate with some local liqueur, but really it was just false advertising and they didn't have any products with that liqueur in it. That was kind of random, and a let down.Overall, Kansas City Fudge is a quick place to get some fudge as a tree or a gift, and I liked it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for saving my life today! After a week of no carbs and no chocolate I was no one to be toyed with. But you saved me with your delicious walnut fudge that just melts in my mouth. You have the best fudge in the whole of the USA and yes, I've traveled it. Never again will I even try to compare the gelatinous muck these others try to pass off as fudge! OMG, it's melting in my mouth! I love you!

Love KC fudge! Delicious and fun to watch it prepared! One of my fondest childhood memories was going to the Christmas craft fair in Overland Park and stopping by the KCF booth with my grandpa. We love bringing home those sweet treats!!
