Kansas City Catering

This review is solely for the tacos they serve at Transport. I've had every vendor there and wanted to support this small business. Unfortunately, they were rather disappointing. First off, I can't really trust someone who advertises tacos as "carne asada" and then, when serving them, calls them "beef." There's no authentic flavor in these bad boys. I tried to salvage the experience by ordering chips and salsa, but the chips were terribly stale and I had to ask for a refund on them. I hope that they are able to make right these recipes because right now, they're not going to get my business making food that has no flavor. I also didn't appreciate the hand on the shoulder and comment from the man who delivered our food. I'm sure he thought it was harmless, but as a woman, I don't need your comments, nor your hand on my shoulder when you're just bringing me my food.

We used Kansas City Catering for our wedding and I cannot recommend this company enough!! Let me just being by saying they did such and incredible job with the food!! It was sooooooo delicious!! I had a very specific list of food I wanted and I was probably not the easiest to work with especially considering we had our reception out in the middle of the woods. Everything was perfect!! Everything tasted amazing!! If I could give them a 6th star I would. When we came in to do a tasting I had been at work all night, had a killer migraine and felt so nauseous I couldn't even get out of the car. My groom had to go in alone and when he came back out he was carrying takeout boxes of the whole meal. KC Catering has packaged it up for me so I could try it when I was feeling better!! So amazing!! Would use again in a heartbeat!!

The staff is great, the food is awesome and everyone has always been super professional. I would use them for any event, any time. I have seen them in really small events and they bring quality and fun and in big events they grind. You're not going to find a better set of quality minded kind people in Kansas City.

The place where I work uses KC Catering annually... their staff is really nice, but their food is really NOT. This year was better than last year, but the gravy looked like a science experiment gone horribly wrong. We always wish our employer would just get something more simple because the catered food is always below average.Seriously, I would take bologna sandwiches over this stuff. Not lying.

I've used Kansas City Catering for several events, both personally and work related. Their staff is extremely helpful from the planning process through the day of the event! They have a great variety of food to fit your specific event and budget. The last corporate event we had they did 2 meals and a snack break. All day long I heard people complimenting the food and how much better it was this year compared to last (the previous year a different caterer was used). I'd highly recommend working with them to help take the stress off of your next event!

As a venue, Cedar Valley Forest, we love working with Kansas City Catering! They are always very accommodating to our couple's desires, which is a huge thing that we look for in a vendor. Second, their communication is top notch! They come prepared and leave the venue neat and clean, as if they were never even there. Finally, the food is so good! Hire Kansas City Catering!!! Our clients and my staff are always happy to eat their food and work with them, to create an amazing day.

If you want to tell a company what you want and no worry...Call Kansas City Catering. They are PROS...from details, communication and follow-up. I have hired them several times for fund-raising events and have been thrilled EVERY time! Recently, I called them to assist with the Infant Loss Resources Golf Tournament. They showed up on time and ready to set up Boxed lunches for the golfers and came back to set up a great pulled pork BBQ dinner. I did not have to do anything, Kasey was so on it!! The best part, Chris recommended the right amount for the quantity of golfers, worked with me on my budget, and made sure to confirm a day before. Best part....One less thing for me to manage or worry about during the event!!

Kansas City Catering has done an excellent job of catering many corporate events for SKC Communications. We've done large happy hours, lunches, box lunches, snacks, and dinners. The food is fantastic and the people are extremely professional. They have been able to accommodate special food requests as well as help us create menus that will appeal to everyone. We love working with them, they have become our go-to caterer for customer events as well as for internal company functions.

We used KC Catering for our wedding this past weekend. From the start the service was great, responsive and courteous from our contact. Pricing was as competitive as it gets. The staff showed up on staff and was great to work with.The food was outstanding, we heard nothing but compliments all night on how great the food was. We had baked chicken that just fell off the bone. Twice baked potatoes were amazing!!Great experience and would highly recommend to everyone!

Kansas City Catering handled both my children's wedding and my mothers 80th birthday party. Could not have asked for a better experience. Staff was excellent and everyone raved about the food. Highly recommend for big or small events.
