Kansas City Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Love this place! I've been training here for years. Very welcoming for any level. Instructors some of the best teachers. Attention to detail is beautiful. It's great to train somewhere they take pride!

Was visiting over Thanksgiving and KCBJJ gave a warm welcome from both the instructor (Jason) and the students. Great instruction, fun sparring partners, clean mats and a good balance of fun and tough training. There's no showers so you gotta shower at home or work after, but that didn't affect my opinion of the place - I'll train here every time I visit KC.

I was visiting Kansas City and trained with Jason and his crew at KCBJJ all week. They were very welcoming and generous, and good jiu-jitsu players! There was plenty of mat space, and the class times worked perfectly for me. In my opinion, the only improvement to be made would be if they could add a shower. I've trained at countless BJJ studios, and this is one of my favorite. I'll definitely visit again any time I'm in town.

Great facility and top notch people. As a newbie, it was nice to work with people at all different levels. I can tell the more experienced students aren't just there to serve themselves, but they seem to enjoy helping others learn as well.

My son attends the youth program and we ADORE IT. My son is a bit of a thrill seeker. he likes intensity and he likes activity. He needs a way to direct all of that. He has done tee-ball, baseball, basketball, boxing, rock wall climbing and then he started at KCBJJ. Not only does KCBJJ offer jui jitsu, but also optional additional classes to help with jui jitsu! There is youth wrestling and youth judo. My son does them all! It is totally his choice, but he would not have it any other way. At 8 years old he trains at KCBJJ at least 7 hours a week and is thrilled to do it. The coaches are amazing and very involved. It is very cool to see my son pick up on different skills from his different coaches. We are nearing up on attending for a year and have absolutely no desires to stop. Trust me, the training you are going to get here is not only incredible, but also so reasonably priced your jaw will drop!

Owner is great and it is a really amazing environment to have a kid learn Jiu Jitsu. So glad that we decided to try it out.

KCBJJ is the best place in the Kansas City area to practice jiu jitsu both with the gi and no-gi. Jason Bircher is the instructor and has a black belt in jiu jitsu. He is great with the kids classes and makes all the kids feel welcome while teaching them great jiu jitsu fundamentals. This is the place to be in KC!
