Kaji Sushi & Grill

In town for my son's wedding, close to our hotel, liked the reviews, Food was Amazing, Crab Rangoon, Dumplings and sushi all were extremely delicious! Best sushi in a long time! Worth the visit! Service was on point!

We were in Kearney running errands and forgot all about Kaji being here... we tend to eat the same old things at the same old places, but decided Sushi sounded good. We got an order of crab rangoon (great crab taste!), an order of gyoza, and a couple rolls. The food was superb, the service was great, and we'll remember this more often now and be back soon!

The food was amazing, we weren't too pleased with the chicken breast that was over cooked but we made it through. With the amount of people coming into this place I can see an expansion in the future. Service was very friendly and informative and lots to choose from on the menu. I stuck with the basics of combo fried rice. Japanese fried rice is my favorite.

They've got great lunch specials not only for sushi, but also for hibachi and teriyaki meals. The sushi is always fresh and the service is always wonderful. The restaurant is pretty small, but it is always clean. The lunch special comes with basic sushi rolls, or you can order other specialty rolls for a regular price. I haven't tried their hibachi, but it looks delicious when I see others ordering it.

We love the edamame, all the sushi choices and the soups! Staff is friendly! It's so nice to have a restaurant with fresh and healthier choices!

I literally go very Friday and get my usual 3 rolls. A California, a dancing eel, and a peanut avocado. The owners literally call me their friend and it's always with a smile! I've also taken many a family member and they love that it's a small place with high quality food every time!

We arrived at 8:45 pm and were the only people in the restaurant. Not sure why though. The food was delicious and fresh. I ordered spicy edamame and the waitress said they didn't have spicy. She asked chef, he made it special for us. The Sashimi came in a very tasty, sweet Ponzu sauce. The Tempura Shrimp was an appetizer that came with tempura a squash, sweet potato, mushroom.

The food and service is wonderful!!!We have been a hand full of times and will continue. Very clean Definitely recommend Pics to follow

Excellent food and great service. All are very nice and caring individuals. A very good place to eat and unwind.

I usually eat at the restaurant for lunch, however, I ordered takeout sushi and sashimi. Absolutely excellent! Every time I'm in Kearney, I make it a point to get my sushi fix. In my humble opinion, the best in the KCMO area.
