Warm welcome. Quick easy ordering at Bar area or via lit up Menu at the entrance. We started out with $5 Margaritas. One with tajin on rim and the other with salt. We kept the order open just in case we wanted more drinks. We continued to place our order of chips and salsa and our order of 3 tacos and a fajita platter. The tacos were perfect. One was asada and 2 were pastor. They were $3.50 each and very tasty. Of course i added cilantro and onion, its what makes it what it is. I topped mine with a green salsa which was in a large self serve bottle in an ice bin in an area where you also collect your plastic utensils. Its self serve yes and i didn't mind. The fajitas were received well. They came with hot tortillas a side of beans and salad. We also ordered another round of chips and salsa. Now, the only thing I would suggest is for the chips and salsa. At $4.99 for an average amount of chips and salsa to me seems a bit steep, especially if you order a second or third. Maybe $4.99 for the first and free refills thereafter. It would make a difference for such an easy minimal item. Other than that, the service, friendly staff and ordering method was great and most importantly the food was flavorful. Great job K Tacos!

I love the way this place is setup ... inside.I'm not a fan of the food or the fact we are using plastic utensils, plastic trays. This isn't a restaurant. This is more a self serve/fast food place. The food is bland. No flavor in rice, nor the salsa. I hate that we're charged for chips and salsa.Whoever made the margarita did an excellent job! I would turn this place into a Mexican coffee shop... no food... maybe concha's.I'd come here for a drink but that's probably about it.

Cute little corner restaurant in Parkville. Fun cheerful atmosphere and friendly staff checking on us several times to be sure everything was OK. Now, lets get to the food. Personally, paying $4.99 for chips and salsa seems excessive. The prices are more reflective of a sit-down restaurant and to me seemed expensive. Customers walk up and place your order at the counter. No silverware here, its all plastic utensils. The food tastes OK. We had fajita's. The meat and vegetables were finely sliced without much substance. Beans and rice were meh. Personally, I would like more spice and fire. The salsa was also very mild so no real way to add flavor or spice. Not sure if I will return when I can go to another popular Mexican restaurant in Parkville and get unlimited chips and salsa for free, better prices, and more flavor in their food and salsa.

I enjoyed the tortillas and the enchilada sauce. The grilled onions and peppers overpowered the fish taco... I couldn't really taste the fish itself. The taco would be better with fish and some kind of cabbage/slaw but that's probably not authentic. The cheese and onion enchilada had a LOT of onions. Maybe I should have said light on the onions? It was a little cool right in the middle of the enchilada, but the sauce and corn tortilla were soooo good. I had a bite of my husband's ground beef burrito. The ground beef was flavorful! So I'd recommend the ground beef. My husband said his burrito, taco, and enchilada were all very, very similar. He should have thought to have gotten a crunchy shelled taco if he wanted different textures. The menu is pretty much tacos, enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, salads. I think everyone is thankful to have a Mexican restaurant in downtown Parkville.

Yay for a New Mexican restaurant! Small corner of delicious. We tried a few dishes that came out quickly. My quesadilla was flavorful, maybe for ease should be cut in more manageable portions. The Chorizo Pollo dish was my favorite. I would probably order that when we come back. Kiddo ordered the Fries. He enjoyed them. Loved the spicy sauces! I swear I could make a meal of rice and salsa. Tiny inside can get congested trying to order. Might try menus instead of ordering at the counter.

My new favorite taqueria in the Northland! Stopped in on a bustling Saturday afternoon while the downtown Parkville businesses were hosting a trick-or-treat for all the little Harry Potter wanna-be's. The small restaurant makes the most of its cramped quarters with limited patio seating, a barstool counter at the window and a split level for a few tables and stools. I read that the female owner was inspired to open her own business after seeing the success of the local women's soccer team - The KC Current. She has used the teams color of teal heavily and added a vibrant floral motif. A pleasing panorama in a historic building. I went with 3 items ala-cart. The chorizo queso dip with chips, a pastor taco and a ceviche tostado. All three items were top tier quality and reorderable for the next visit, which might cause an issue because there are a lot more items on the menu that I want to explore. .Final verdict - GOOOAL!!!

I'll start with the staff are all super friendly. However, it's a Disorganized mess. Full service prices, for an order at the counter, plastic silverware and high school lunch plates. Had the chicken and chorizo, no pico. Came out covered in pico, cut super thin and overcooked. Queso it was supposed to be topped with must have got lost with the no queso. Beans were plain and not even warm enough to melt the cheese. The taco salad my wife said was good, except the bowl tasted like old grease.
