K-Macho's Mexican Grill and Cantina

First off the food was incredible and very filling. Very busy atmosphere, but that comes with a downside. Our server from the beginning did seem very pushy to get us to order and asked us 3 times if we were ready within 5 min and that's before we got our drinks. I understand turning a table but trying to rush patrons to choose a meal before we even get our drinks is a tad wild. We also had to ask multiple times for refills on chips and salsa. The house margarita was good but tasted very watered down.Would recommend the food 9/10Service 5/10Ambiance 10/10Drinks 4/10

One of my Favorite Mexican Restaurants, I first fell in love with Kmachos years ago at their Olathe location. I always recommend them to family and friends. I picked Kmachos for an early dinner after my mom had an outpatient procedure at KU Overland Park area. When we arrived we waited at the hostess stand for a little bit, the Entrance is decorated beautifully and has a traditional Mexican theme, a big party had just arrived so they were getting tables ready for them. Our party of 4 was finally greeted and seated at a table in the bar area. We were promptly greeted by our Server who took our drink orders and then another person came with Chips and Salsa. Our server came back with our drinks and took our dinner order. My dad and I had the El Parton which is delicious. It's a 6oz Steak I believe with 3 Stuffed bacon wrapped Shrimp, a crispy taco, rice and beans. You definitely get your fill of this entree. My mom opted for rice and beans with tortillas since she was a little sore from intubation. My sister ordered the Pork Chile which is phenomenal-I may get that next time! (Sorry I forgot to take a pic) the flavor was delicious and the pork was tender, it also came with/rice & beans. Service was fast and friendly and we even ordered food/tortillas to go!

I had an amazing experience last night, while visiting for my friend's birthday party. We had a large party, and I am a server so I know how intimidating and or stressful large groups can be. Fortunately, our waitress was super kind, super organized, and made our experience simple and easy while we took time to chat and enjoy eachothers company. I ordered the Paloma enchiladas, which were very delicious. There were no problems with anyone's order, it all came out wonderfully. I sincerely wish I got our servers name, because she also kept us full on chips, drinks, and salsa.

Ate there last night. Food was delicious. Service was fantastic. Great atmosphere. My only complaint is not having a truly mild sauce. Their mild is i believe what a Mexican American would call mild, but not me. My grand daughter couldn't even eat it. Having said that if you like the spice ..... you will love this place and yes the food was delicious. The young man who waited on us had to be one of the best servers they have. He never let drinks get below 1/2 mark and remembered a four person order with special requests (wait staff who do this typically make me nervous because i know its gonna be wrong) without any mistakes. He also had some great tats. Keep up the amazing service and ill keep coming back.

Love salty iquana sauce better this one was different but good carnitas very good Fajitas chicken the guacamole was fa weird green creamy ??? Great service good food different bunch of outside seating

Did I just have the best margarita in Overland Park? Lunch at Kmachos with margs and enchiladas is just what I needed. The chips & salsa were on point. Super crispy and light with fresh tasting salsa. We love a lunch menu full of options. I enjoyed the enchiladas with the verde sauce. It was delish. But what I really wanted to try was The Escalade margarita...but was it the best? Honestly I'm not sure if it can be outdone. Loved the decor and charm of the restaurant. Service was amazing! Can't wait to go back.

This was a very yummy culinary experience. Almost every morsel of food I ate from the chips and salsa to the shrimp to the steak (BEST) to the enchilada was just incredible. My server was very nice and helped me select a dish from the menu since I'd never visited before. The atmosphere was very welcoming and family oriented. It seemed to be popular with the locals. It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday. I probably would've given this place a five if I'd actually liked the rice that they served and my drink. Will I go back next time I'm in Olathe? Yes! Have I already told others about it? Yes!

I haven't been to this joint in many years, after having a blah experience. We decided to give it another shake and it did deliver in all facets!! The place was packed, walked in a 6 top, only had to wait 10 minutes. We had salsa and waters on the table in under a minute and drinks and Espinaca a few minutes later. Loud and lively atmosphere, we had a blast not having to keep our talking and laughter down. This was a Tuesday evening, so I can't imagine a Friday night!Our server was super sweet and attentive and we never had to ask for a refill, chips or anything. One of the best services we have ever received! Chicken and Steak fajitas for two was massive, with each person getting 3-4 tortillas, along with each a plate of beans, rice, lettuce, pico and guacamole! Worth every penny! The steak chimichanga was en fuego, small cut and crisped steak pieces, peppers on the side. My boys inhaled the chicken burrito dinners, so props on that!We will return to enjoy again soon, thank you!!

This is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants. I haven't had a dish yet that I didn't like. I also love the chips and salsa.

The water at K-Macho's is consistently excellent, with clear, high-quality ice cubes and a crisp, clean taste that perfectly complements the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere.As good as the water is, the food is even better.
