Went with a larger party (6+) and was seated right away Saturday early afternoon. For the price, you get a great deal. Sushi was a lot better than I anticipated. The stir fry meats (general Tso chicken, beef dishes) weren't my favorite, I recommend filling up on sushi and the dimsum dishes (you have to try the custard bao). Service to clear old plates and refilling water was quick. Friendly servers as well- seemed to be eager to help and assist guests as needed.

I thought I'd try the "new" Joy Wok, as I heard they had a great variety.Very nice-looking restaurant in appearance, and the buffet is HUGE, however nearly everything I tried was either bland or simply didn't taste good. The chicken was undercooked, and honestly, most of the options were either cool or even cold instead of hot. The service was mediocre and would have been much improved if the waitress spoke English. Overall, I was greatly unimpressed and felt it to be very overpriced. The staff said that the price was due to the seafood on the buffet---well, I don't even care for or eat seafood. Dragon Empire in OP is not a fancy restaurant but has MUCH better food and service for nearly half the price.

Food was good for a buffet. The staff could use a little more training. She came once to take our order and once to bring us our initial drinks. From there on she became scarce. This place is known for the crab legs and butter. I didn't have any as I hit the hibachi! But everything here was delicious. I recommend the hibachi grill. It was on point! Ambiance was nothing special. It was more off a grab your food and demolish type of feel lol. Would I come back when I come back into town? Absolutely yes! I give it two thumbs up!

I thought this place was great. Very clean, no only gross food sitting around, and a great wait staff! They have a little bit of everything. Chinese, sushi, some American food like pizza. Great fruit selection! I will definitely be back next time I'm in town. My picky young children even found a ton of stuff they liked.

We came back for their seafood weekend dinner buffet. 29.99, doesn't matter if you choose to eat the seafood or not, the price is fixed. The seafood was...mediocre. Crab legs had very little meat, and was salty. Sushi wasn't really all that fresh. It was slightly discolored and very fishy. The crab legs had crabbill on them, which aren't dangerous--but off putting to have a leech eggs. Food was typical buffet. Oily, sweet. Flies were around the habachi area. I think this was probably our last visit.

Frankly, I was incredibly underwhelmed. I'd imagine that if I liked sushi, my thoughts might be different, but I was hoping for more dishes I would recognize. There weren't a lot of dishes I would recognize. I found there to be surprisingly few chicken dishes. Overall, I didn't get much flavor from the dishes. Service was fine. The koi pond was cool!

I am in multiple food groups and this place is always recommended when it comes to buffets. We attempted to go on Christmas and was told the wait wouldn't be long but it was crowded and tables were so close that we opted for another choice but returned the next day for lunch. They cram as many people in as possible. Our table was half and half and even my boyfriend who is super skinny had trouble getting between the tables to sit and stand. Tables had people literally almost sitting in the buffet like in part of it. The amount of options for food I will say was intense. So many options but as many as I tried I didn't find anything that stood out. The general tso's and another thing I tried were more candy sweet than spicy which I don't like a lot of spice but I don't want candy chicken either. The dumplings were good, but the potatoes were hard. I did try some sushi and it was good but they were not keeping it stocked well, but I liked the few pieces I had. My boyfriend did like the hibachi he had but that was about where it stopped. We both agreed it's nice for tons of options but nothing stood out at us about it to make us swoon to go back. Now some swear by the seafood buffet which is what we skipped on Christmas because we didn't feelLike spending $15 plus extra per person for food we wouldn't eat. The place was crowded so some people obviously love it, so give it a try, you won't know till you do

I'm a TRUE FOODIE with an EXTENDED, UNLIMITED Palate. I eat many varieties of cuisine (SUPERB Cuisine), but Chinese is a life-long favorite. I've patronized Joy Wok over the years and it has been ok. Since changing locations and adding SUPER to Joy Wok Buffet it's lost its 'MoJo' for me, BIG Time!!! There was very little that was Super or Joyous about this visit, sweetie (owner)!A recent lunch brought utter disgust vs pleasure or Joy. I can't figure out why upon arriving at opening time the food wasn't hot!!! There's something EXTREMELY Wrong with that picture!!!Warm was even pushing it. I even stirred the entree's I selected in hopes that they'd be hot....to no avail. When I arrived at my table & dug in, nothing was hot, but ME!!!Our server was pleasant enough and the ambiance was alright, but I couldn't get past two trips to the buffet with mediocre food. I'm not one to waste, in fact, it gauls me to see how much food is wasted in restaurants while many less fortunate are virtually malnourished! Sadly, much of the two plates went in the trash! My choices were rice, vegetable lo mein (plain & awful), general tso's chicken, Hawaiian chicken, chicken & broccoli w/vegetables, chicken on a stick (dried out, flavorless), 2 mussels, 1 dumpling, 3 crab rangoon, 1 rib & 1 triangle of stale watermelon for dessert (one bite & I was done with it). The chicken was a mystery...I wondered what it REALLY was??? Didn't taste or look like chicken in any form that I chose. All was cold so there was most of the lunch in the 'throw away' pile. My second trip was to try the wide variety of sushi & seaweed. I could've literally stood and applauded. They were the only foods that were satisfactory. Geeezzzz. Unbelievable!!!I paid cash for my meal, took a photo w/ my daughter (she's a photoaholic)& proceeded with her to pay for her meal. The same raunchy-rude cashier inquired about ME paying. I politely told her I JUST paid YOU! I was the one with the 20.00 bill & my change was received. Do you have amnesia? Really? I didn't say that, but wanted to. She then asked my server if I'd paid. He confirmed I did (my daughter also saw me) We walked out & I was beyond furious!!! A horrible meal, rude cashier & nothing left to smile about but the server, sushi, seaweed & water. What a day & what a waste!!! Time, money, energy, gone....Talk to the hand lady & be REAL glad I kept my cool. Needless to say, I'm done! There are TOO MANY Chinese restaurants that STILL Top my list of class and great food. I don't need your establishment. I'll take my green elsewhere & for all of those that find it delightful, good for you!

This is my mom's favorite Chinese buffet place! I don't mind coming they offer a great sushi bar and their kimchi is always good. The hot buffet line offers a wide variety and very tasty! The wait staff are very attentive and clear plates and refills often. Love their side rooms for groups!
