Not impressed at all, most of the food was cold!! Hot and sour soup was maybe at best just above room temperature, fish , mushrooms were COLD . The pepper pork was the best thing I had on my plate. The fruit was not ripe , way too green and hard to cut. Small steam tables, you think would've been better. Still looking for a good Chinese buffet, haven't found it yet!!! Best one was in KCK on 78 th & State in front of the big K-mart. Been closed many years now.So the hunt continues....

Went to eat here when they had a special on a holiday, it was packed but we didn't wait too long. Be sure to check in with a staff and how many people you have so they can get you on the list. It's a little too tight for someone who may need ADA assistance. But thankfully we were seated close enough to the food. Food was fresh, tasty and there was so much to choose from. Didn't get to try the habachi, but we did try the sushi, seafood (crabs legs), crawfish, and other tasty Chinese food. Would come back again.

Our drink was ordered as we walked to our table so it was ready for us once we got our food. Food was hot and rated really good for being a buffet. Decent selections. Hibachi is kinda tucked away in the back corner. The sushi is mostly imitation crab but that's ok, it tasted really great! Looking forward to coming back.

I have had lunch and dinners at Joy Wok way before they relocated to the Metcalf location in Overland Park. I had a cook at the grill, grill the items I picked at the bar. The cook was on his phone more than cooking my food. It was undercooked and frankly it was the worst I have ever had from Joy Wok. I mentioned to the cashier, KASSIE, my experience and she did not care enough to respond to me. This was a valentine lunch and I paid $25.53 @ 2:40pm for a senior rate for 2 of us. I am extremely disappointed not only with my food, but more with Kassie for not even giving me the time of day when I mentioned my food quality. I was NOT looking for a discount or anything, I even tipped the cook in the tip jar with $5.00.

When they say Super they mean it. Close to my hotel while traveling took a shot on Joy Wok. I shy away from 2.5 star places normally and there wasn't many cars in the parking lot but i went ahead. A great selection of sushi, a Mongolian bar, 4 hot bars and long cold bar. The flavors were great with many dishes including a huge brisket (albeit overcooked) and crawfish. A little thin on cooked veggie/meat dishes but i'd give Joy Wok 4.5 if i could. Eat it!

Brand new location! Joy Wok IS a super buffet! It offers hibachi, sushi, salad, dessert, and traditional Chinese food. We went for lunch and the cost was $12.99 for adults much less for kids. All food was hot and fresh! I was disappointed in the hot and sour soup. It was mostly broth and was neither hot (spicy) or sour! The hibachi station offered plenty of veggies and protein...ask for extra sauce..All in all, it was a great experience and I am ready for more!

Great food, clean facility and fresh food plus they have industrious, very friendly staff. The sushi is excellent quality and they replenish food & sauces all the time! My one negative is food scrap/trash buckets on tables are often grungy.

We eat here regularly - it's our favorite local restaurant for Asian food. In addition to their appetizers, main dish buffet, and desserts, their hibachi station is great for those who want stir fry without the sweet sauces, and the ability to select meat/seafood/ veggies and heat level of the fresh cooked entree. They also usually have a good selection of sushi rolls to select from, and interesting pickled salads.
