Joe's Town

Good used furniture at great prices. I just furnished my entire place with well made, vintage, solid oak, which will last years longer than the cheap particle board junk sold elsewhere. Very friendly and helpful staff: they even brought on extra workers on a Sunday afternoon when that was the only time I could move.

I've found fabulous furniture and jewelry here. Custom sofa (just needed professional cleaning), vintage Ethan Allen for Baumritter dresser (needs nothing), and fine quality sterling silver earrings for $1!!! Delivery was quick, professional, and well priced. This place has become a weekend staple.

Great prices on new and used furniture. Also has a fleamarket. Not too big but lots of everything. Signed chiefs Jerseys, guitars, glass trinkets, cute redone children's furniture, used tvs. Even some cosplay items. Pretty much anything and everything that you would expect to find at a fleamarket. Employees were nice and helpful.

I really liked the variety and items in Joes town, however I had the WORST customer experience experience of my life there!!!! I was extremely happy to have found this rustic pine chest of drawers. The man behind the counter told me to pull the truck around to the loading area which we did. He and a security guard proceeded to slide my chest of drawers in on its side and snapped off an entire piece of trim on the top. The two men proceeded to just pull the piece of furniture back out and the older man looked at me and said in a really rude tone "so what's the plan now"? I wanted to say "well something that doesn't entail u breaking the item I just bought for over $100 more". But I was polite. Unfortunately I couldn't assist too much as I was 8 months pregnant. My friend asked the man if I was going to get some money back and the man replied NO and that it was a distressed piece. I'm sorry but distressednis different than broken! My friend asked who was in charge and the man said he was Joe the owner. I did not receive even an apology, the man just stalked off after basically throwing the other piece of furniture I purchased in the bed of the truck as well. I was too flabbergasted at the time to argue and now I'm still in shock that Joe sees fit to conduct business in this manner.

This is a great store for this area. We really needed something like this in South Kansas City Grandview area. They have a nice selection of new and used furniture reasonably priced lots of home decoration items and other vendor items as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Joe's Town is a treasure trove if you know what to look for! Some of the best pieces in my home are from there. Joe himself is very friendly and helpful. I recently bought a painting and he gave us the backstory of where it came from, etc. and even loaded it into the car for us. I've been shopping here for years and have never had a bad experience.

Friendly staff and a wide variety of vendors. Easy to find and prices are very reasonable.

Very friendly staff, lots of neat stuff, never know what you'll find. They have guitars & drum sets to furniture to serving pieces and everything in between. I'm going back soon to shop for more goodies.

since moving to their new location joe's town has decided to charge customers and potential customers a 1% fee if they choose to pay with a debit card instead of paying with cash. my purchase was more than $100 and i have been a customer for many years. when i decided to let everyone know about this fee on joe's town's facebook page, they blocked me as if they have something to hide. yet they boldly charge you this fee.
