Joelle’s Baked with Love

Joelle is a beautiful soul. You can tell she takes the upmost pride in her business. She truly does bake with love. The store is so welcoming and the customer service I received was wonderful. I came to get some gluten-free scones for my daughter. And I also picked up a variety box of scones for the rest of my family. Wow! They are so good! We can't wait to come back in and try more!

Joelle is super friendly and works hard to prepare unbelievably beautiful and delicious desserts and breakfast items. The breakfast biscuits and gravy casserole I bought was delicious and she even warmed it up for me to sit and eat in the store.

I found out about this place days before Joelle & her family took a much earned and deserved vacation. They were temporarily closed from May 12th to June 12th. Yelp & Google haven't updated their hours yet, but they are very active on keeping customers updated on their Facebook page. I'm pretty sure you will meet Joelle any time you go if she's not busy in the back baking. She was very nice & didn't rush/let you take in all of the endless possibilities. When I went this morning she was catching up with a regular customer so there's friendly community atmosphere. They have a drink fridge with a few options and also looked like they sell coffee beans. There's only a couple of tables so you'll probably pick up your pastries and leave when it's busy.I got a cranberry orange scone and two Reese's peanut butter cup scone with chocolate ganache. They were very good! Highly recommend trying out their scones. Joelle posts pictures of almost all the kinds of scones & pastries that are available each day on their FB page. They're also known for their cupcakes. Yes it's a little north, but it's definitely worth trying! Tip: if you're able to bring cash because there is a small % fee for card transactions

Joelle is kind , and the kindness shines into her work. You won't go wrong with anything you pick here, either it be savory or sweet.

We had three of the savory scones and 4 of the sweet and I honestly don't know which was better!! They are all so good! Will be back soon!!!

Visited based on a friend's recommendation and pictures. I was not disappointed! Joelle is so kind and helpful - so willing to talk about all her goodies. I purchased 3 scones - sausage and cheese (for today) as well as blueberry/peach and dark chocolate espresso for the next morning. They were delicious. Will definitely return even though it is a 40 minute drive.

This lovely bakery is run by a sweet and very hard working woman who makes delectable baked goods and just brings a smile to your face, overall. Most recently I ran in last minute for my daughter's 15th birthday and grabbed some pineapple cupcakes. They were divine to say the least :-); everything I've ever had there has been. Try the chocolate croissant!

Fantastic scones with flavors you've never dreamed of, and the owner is delightful! We're in KC for just a day or two, but we're making a point of stopping by her store before we leave. Highly recommend!!!

Stopped by Joelle's this morning after trying her scones served at Hull House. I grabbed the lemon blueberry scone, carrot cake cupcake and hummingbird cupcakes. All phenomenal- the flavor and quality of her stuff is so great and she definitely doesn't skimp on size or ingredients! Aside from the wonderful goodies, she is the sweetest! She chatted with me about her background, info about the store and even recommended other local businesses. Please go support her, she's amazing and so are the scones!!
