I love Jerusalem Cafe! I don't get over to Westport too often but I love to stop in for a gyro when I do. My most recent visit was on Christmas Eve. I ordered at the front, paid, and my food was out in no time. The individuals at the front were extremely friendly and helpful. And my order was accurate. I did take my food to go but the interior was nice and pretty large. I ordered the hummus and falafel combo. The hummus was really good and they gave plenty of fluffy pita bread. The falafel were crispy and flavorful. I like to pair the hummus and the falafel and I always have leftovers. I went with the gyro sandwich for an entree. I always opt for the beef and lamb but you can also get chicken. The gyro is good sized and they put lots of meat on it. Plenty of tzatziki and fresh tomatoes. The beef/lamb meat is delicious. It's so tender and juicy. The gyro comes with a few things too-soup or salad, and rice or fries. I went with the soup and rice. The soup is lentil and it's really delicious. I would order this by itself. They blend the lentils so the soup isn't chunky but it's a nice thick, creamy texture. And the flavors are on point. The rice is no ordinary rice. Again, flavor explosion! It really pairs well with a gyro. They have one of my favorite gyros in the city. Definitely check them out!

I stopped by Jerusalem Cafe for a quick lunch after exploring Art Westport, and I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful experience! I highly recommend the lentil soup--it was incredibly flavorful and comforting. Brent enjoyed his Turkish coffee, which gave him the perfect little pick-me-up.The hummus was just as delicious as expected, creamy and perfectly seasoned. I also had the refreshing fattoush salad, which was surprisingly filling even without adding meat! I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu; I've got my eye on the tzatziki for next time!Overall, if you're in the area, this spot is a must-visit for fresh, authentic Mediterranean flavors!

I had a large salad with beef and lamb. I can't describe in a short blurb how fantastic this salad was. The perfectly seasoned meat paired with an amazing sweet and tart dressing and the salt of the feta just hit every taste bud and simply blew my mind. Bravo!

Got the opportunity to come to this restaurant again a few years after initially trying it, and it was still awesome this visit! Got the chicken shawarma sandwich, and it tasted great! Chicken in the sandwich was great and really also liked the yogurt. Also tried out both the falafel and hummus, and they were both amazing! The falafel was very flavorful and crispy. The hummus was very creamy. For dessert, got to try out the Knafeh, and it was very good. It wasn't overly sweet and had the right amount of cheese. Service of this restaurant was also very good! Overall, I had another great experience at this restaurant and look forward to returning next time I'm in Kansas City!

Jerusalem Cafe has some great food. The manakish is delicious. Think cheesey bread but better. The lentil soup was one of the best I've had. It is full of flavor and was perfect on a cold day. The service is quick and friendly. One weekend nights, they run a food cart in Westport where you can grab hummus or a gyro on the way home. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options available here.

This place was VERY tasty, and actually had good flavor. As someone who is Asian I definitely recommend. I don't have a menu in front of me so i apologize for the spellings in advance! Great service and friendly staff too. Wasn't too busy, but we also went on a Wednesday. - baba gnoush (+ chicken we added): this hummus was probably our favorite item we got. so tasty and my bf loved the chili hot sauce!- lentil soup: tasty, not as thick as i would've expected but still good nonetheless!- fries: very crispy should get these- they taste like they are from a food truck hehe- chicken schwarma: very delicious wrap with the same chicken that was added to the hummus we got. Very delicious and came as a meal w the fries and lentil soup.Overall love this place and great for a date night. Also decor inside was very nice as well, glad to see such a staple available in Westport.

Food tasted absolutely fresh. Great place to visit while in Westport for a family dinner. The staff was very welcoming and answered any questions. The sandwiches are not vegan friendly from what our server said but you can modify the salads and add the falafels. There are some entrees that provide a great variety and the tahini sauce is also vegan.

The meat was just a little over cooked. It was seasoned ok. We had beef and chicken kabobs. The tzatziki sauce was really good. The rice and salad were also. Service was great. I ordered and picked up.
