Jake's Place Bar & Grill

Have drove by many times, went in and the bartender her mom took over, she was super nice , knowledgeable and out going too, customer already there and they were nice to strangers, game room too, pix posted, the food was excellent, just enough so I didn't have throw any out, they have many different things to do with the customer, they are right behind QT, plenty of parking too

Jake's place is a fun neighborhood hangout. I have only ever had the appetizers, but they are all great and also a little different than what you would typically see at a bar, i.e. traditional eggrolls. The service is fast and the drinks are cheap. This isa go to place for an after work hangout!

Invited to Jake's located on Johnson Drive just west of Quivira on the South side. 'Night Run', a motorcycle group delivering toys for disadvantaged children within a four-state area in their trailers and trucks. Wrapped packages getting ready for Christmas giving. Jake's is a sponsor, so ate dinner while wrapping. The nachos were plentiful, chips very fresh and plenty of cheese and meat. Prices are very reasonable and service was excellent (Chris was our server). Will frequent this business more in the future both for their food/prices and their support of disadvantaged children.

Came here for a drink one night. It's definitely a local hangout. There were about 12 people in here on a Saturday night. The drinks were reasonably priced, my hubby got the special which was some sort of burrito and said it was pretty good. I just didn't feel terribly welcome, it was very obvious we weren't "regulars" and the regulars are their bread and butter.

Not a single server or patron is seen wearing masks. Immediately left. Not worth the risk! This also goes against the mask mandate that went into affect July 3rd.

Jake's Place has some nice lunch specials. The taco Monday $0.95 beef hard shell tacos were very good. There were good amounts of tasty ground beef, fresh lettuce, and shredded cheese. The service was friendly, attentive, fast, and appreciative. Very nice for the price!

Great food and good prices! Heather Philly sandwich and it was season just right and came out warm and toasted!

Food was good. We didn't like the way we were treated! We left because of everyone ugly stares because we paid to play some hispanic songs. And the way they told us to not play music anymore was not necessary!

I don't think they clean at all place was nasty and the mixed drinks made poorly. Belligerent people that probably should've been cut off trying to fight each other. Not great

Dirty all around. Food and drinks mediocre. Staff unprofessional, rude, and probably drunk. Don't waste your time or money here
