Jackson's Tavern looks a block from Adams B&G on the map, but in reality they are across the same parking lot from each other. And while Adams is surprisingly nice on the inside, Jackson's Tavern is true dive through-and-through.It's smokey, and seems a little rough and intimidating at first, but we ended up finding the people to be pretty friendly. There's a pool table and a Silver Strike machine, as well as a vending machine that dispenses lottery tickets. B bought a few and won $5, then bought 5 more tickets and won $25.The restrooms are too tiny for sinks, so a communal sink sits behind a partition outside the bathroom doors.Amusingly, when we walked in, the bartender thought B asked for a couple of "straws" when he in fact asked for a couple of "draughts". So there was some momentary confusion when she handed us two drinking straws. :)

This place is just a average hole in the wall. What makes it is the people and bartenders. Fair price very nice Jim beam and coke lol hint. People are friendly and very social. No fights just good old fashioned people juke and pool.
