Incline on 9th is the poppin. AND not to mention a killer date night spot! My husband and I checked it out and went for the Lamb Rack and Seafood Pasta. The lamb was ABSOLUTELY delicious! You could taste the charcoal smoke in every bite! Yummm! I will say though...pass on the side of chimichurri...way overpriced for how much they give you. As for the Seafood Pasta, the seafood was some of the best I've had in the KC area. The sauce had a tangy note that was a little unexpected, but nothing too horrible.Yes, it's $$$ (hence the 4 stars), and while the vibe inside is modern, cozy, and perfect for a night out, something just isn't fully there to justify the price for every dish. That said, don't miss the BBQ donut dessert! It's a fun, unexpected twist that wraps up the meal perfectly. Worth a visit, but maybe not every splurge.

I am so Happy to see more restaurants in the West Bottoms. They have their own parking lot which is a bonus. The interior was giving a lounge like vibe with red leather cushioned walls. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We came in for drinks and appetizers. Our food unfortunately fell short. We had the mushroom fondue which was suppose to come with purple chips ( thinking maybe tortilla) but was served with stale house chip. The fondue its self tasted like cream of mushroom soup. I expected it to be more cheesy not runny. They offer a selection of NA drinks/ beers/ wines

Our 1st visit and it was Brunch menu. The have their own parking lot ( great as parking isn't easy). The don't have beer on tap but cocktails & wine!! The brunch menu is a good mix of breakfast type items & burgers etc.Prompt attentive service! I really enjoyed my dish very thick bacon and perfect poached eggs. Love the seasoning of their breakfast potatoes. The tacos were "ok" he said not bad but not awesome. We will come back and check out dinner!

I was excited to see a new concept take over the space where EJ's Urban Eatery was formerly located - man, I loved and miss that joint! Incline on 9th is a bit more polished than EJ's was, A more sophisticated menu and a specialty cocktail list, but still has a casual feel. I checked out the menu before I went and knew immediately what I was going to order off of the Sunday brunch menu - The Sloppy Ralph; and sloppy it was. A layer of tangy Sloppy Joe style ground beef, a layer of fried pork belly slices, topped with a layer of fried onion straws and resting between a warm brioche roll. A mountain of flavors and textures. This Ralphie approves! The fries were steakhouse style - plentiful and crispy. My waiter at the bar was friendly and chatty and the other two staff that interacted with were both polished on their customer service skills. A nice addition to the West Bottoms.

I've been here 3 times. It is phenomenal. Probably the best Mac & cheese in the city. The fried cheese with the hot honey is so good. Can't wait to go again to try more of the menu.Staff is so friendly! 10/10.

The food exceeded expectations. I prefer smash burgers to thick steakhouse style burgers but this burger was great! Well seasoned with thick cut pork belly bacon, white cheddar cheese, and a fried egg. Also don't usually like steak fries but these are well done and crispy

First off I want to say service was great and the ambiance was cool. We went on a quiet Friday night and we were one of a couple of tables. Our server came out and I asked which of the tap cocktails they liked best and they offered me a sample. I tried the thirst trap and ultimately got that as a full cocktail. On the sweeter side, which I prefer. We started with the Rangoon fries. We thought it was delicious and our server actually brought out more wonton chips when they saw we were out of chips with lots of dip left. I don't love the name Rangoon fries, since it doesn't describe what it is to me - chips - but I'd happily order again and frankly is very craveable. I was in an adventurous mood so I got the GELT (the BLT with chicken skin). It was alright, tbh. Chips were great, skin was crispy but it just didn't taste very balanced. Just meh for me. BF got the McRib. It was pretty good but he didn't think it was as good as the one they had at Hosghead a few years ago. We also found the chimichurri slaw that he swapped in to be odd and unbalanced - no green in it at all and very flat. We decided to try the bbq donut. Something odd was going on in the kitchen (new hire the server said) who mixed something wrong so there was a very odd component on the plate. When we commented that we thought it was odd to our server, they went to the kitchen to figure out what was going on. When they came back, they were very apologetic and comped the dessert and my drink in addition to offering a piece of chocolate cake. We didn't actually make a complaint, but I thought the service was just so wonderful and customer focused. So I guess I would say that for service and ambience, they get 5 stars. The food still has work to be done and would be a 3.5 at best. I admire the chef's willingness to take risks, but I think there needs to be a little bit more finesse on the menu still, incomplete tasting dishes or ones needing a seasoning adjustment. That said the crab Rangoon dip appetizer was so good. My two other photos didn't turn out.

This place was very clean and had a great vibe. The service was awesome and we never went more than a few minutes without being checked in on. We got the cheesy corn bake and the Rangoon fries as an appetizer. The Rangoon fries were great - I would totally order these again. Unfortunately we didn't eat more than a couple of bites of the corn bake, because the toast that was served was extremely burnt. We asked the waiters opinion on the meal we had planned to get and he advised otherwise, so we went with the 816 rib sandwich with onion strings. Again, we were disappointed. It was edible, but just very mediocre. It tasted more like something you'd get at a fast food joint instead of what we had hoped for from this place after seeing the great looking menu. We probably won't be going back, but if so would definitely try something else to eat.
