Ideal Temp Heating & Cooling

My AC was making a whining sound. Plus it was running a little hot. Ideal contacted new right away after putting out a search for help on Yelp. They set me up with an appointment almost right away and were here in a couple of days to address my issues. After running a diagnostic check and cleaning the unit up, it is running as good as new and I couldn't be happier with their work and professionalism! I will certainly call them again for any of my future HVAC needs!

BEWARE!! During our fall check up, the technician told us he found a few problems, including a carbon monoxide leak. Said he was required to turn off our gas and call his manager out for a 2nd reading. Mgr gave us his cell# that afternoon and continuously texted us offering to work with us on getting a new furnace and AC unit. Funny how he stopped texting me when I told him we were going to get a second opinion. While we were waiting for our 2nd opinion appt, we called the OP Fire department who immediately came out. Their reading was too low to detect any carbon monoxide leak! Now, we're questioning whether we had a Freon leak last spring or not. If this company tells you that you have any kind of leak, get a second opinion!

Had HVAC systems installed 1 month ago. The $1,000 UV light I had purchased from Ideal Temp back in November is not compatible with my new HVAC unit I purchased from Ideal temp. I was told by Morgan the installer that the UV light would be covered by the warranty. After many attempts to get the owner to respond he told me he had to order the light from the manufacturer. It's been a month and can not get any response from the owner. Also, the credit card I used for my 10% down was charged twice and still can't get that issued resolved! My credit card company can't even get a response from them with my dispute on the double charge. I would be very cautious of using this company!!! It's sad that you try and use a local business and recieve such poor customer service.

We had a similar situation to another reviewer - they came out to do our winter system check of our heater. The took a CO2 reading and said our air was dangerous. With small children and animals in the house, we shut off the heat during a chilly night so that their "Manager" could come out the next day. This manager was actually a sales person - and they listed a number of problems with the heater. I was interested in how unconcerned he was with a CO2 reading that he was breathing himself. There were a couple of other things they did that didn't smell right. My father always told me to get a second opinion (and he was a doctor). We called another service group and had two other readings done in our house over a multi-hour process, and the C02 level was normal. Ideal was using fear and concern for our family to sell a product we did not need. We saved thousands by not taking their recommendation and checking their conclusions. My first recommendation is to always get another opinion before shelling out money, and my second is to NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Excellent service. Matt is both the salesforce, and the installation crew....he knows the stuff that he sells. He has always been responsive, fair and upfront. Can't recommend this company enough.

I reviewed 6 other HVAC companies, some of which were heavily advertised and offering "free furnace with a/c purchase" before selecting Ideal Temp to move my 2 outside a/c units and replace one of them and it's furnace. Other companies no-bid the job or wanted an arm and leg to do something other than the ordinary removal and replacement. Ideal Temp met my exacting equipment specifications and installed the system where and the way I wanted it in only 8 hours! I could not be happier with the way the system looks and the way it now performs.
