Great studio! My BFF has been going here since she was a toddler. Wonderful selection of styles and good class sizes. I know recital time can be a bit stressful but the kids are great and not too much pressure put on the little ones.

Absolutely the Best! Creativity and Dedication radiate from teacher, student, and parent alike. What a great learning experience for myself and my children. Im so grateful my daughter is part of such a great group! The recital on May 7, 2016 is the reasoning for my finally getting around to posting a review, it was amazing! I love the way you guys included the student's fathers. And these Dads where really putting on a show! And these were manly men! But every single one really gave their all! And also having all the teachers and dancers perform together was just so nice to see! I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed the entire show! Keep it up!!

Well, well, well, isben dance studio. Lol dance studio. Ok, well, I was new to the area & was checking out studios for my daughter to attend. I made an appointment with the owner. Upon arrival I noticed that a lady was on the phone speaking quite nasty to someone, so I stepped back. After she finished on the phone she then proceeds to speak to a parent sitting there about how she was sick & tired of other stupid parents.I then introduced myself & advices her that I had an appointment. She stated, "yeah". She then told me that I could look around the studios & see if I liked them but the girls my daughters age will not be there until another day. I told her that when we set up the appointment I stated that I wanted to see the girls my daughters age. She replied" yea , I know but this is the time I scheduled. You can look at the pictures on the wall & see if you like it here". She then walked away without saying one further word to me or my daughter. I looked at the pictures & peeked in the classroom and the instructor slammed the door in my face! As I headed towards the door I said to the owner thanks & her response was nothing!I have never been so disrespected by just ignoring me! LolFrom what I did see the school sucked any way!!! I saw a class at the location further north across from McDonalds & yep, the teenage girls were not doing correct techniques. I dodged a bullet! So, thanks for ignoring me! I would have hated myself for placing my daughter there! sickled feet, Smh. Hope they don't brake their ankles!

It's almost recital time, I can't express how awesome this is designed and keeping the best times, performance and self esteem of the children, I am blessed to have this company making my grandchildren have the tools necessary to get them off the couch and learning in a fun noncompetitive environment, every student is special and it shows

If you are looking for a dance studio that teaches kids to love and respect dance, theatre and voice as well as teach proper technique then this is the right place you your kids! I am a former dance student and have brought my daughter back to this wonderful studio. Recital is wonderful with tasteful age appropriate costumes and dances and the teachers are great!

My two girls have been dancing at Ibsen for years. Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop. I am not a dancer, however I think they have progressed very well year after year. They have met many new friends and danced with girls from their school(s). The teachers are willing to listen to concerns and the owner was gracious enough to allow one of my daughters to change classes when she felt she was not meeting the teacher's expectations. The following year (and the year after that) my daughter was with that same teacher and had no problems what-so-ever! The owner was correct when she told me what a difference a year can make!My dancers thoroughly enjoy their classes, but they especially like Hip Hop. I like that the class is taught by a man and they get to see and experience dance from a male perspective. Dance can get labeled a "girl" activity that brings images of pink tutus and glitter. My dancers both love those things, but it is great to see someone teaching them to dance what they are feeling and not just on the count of the music. Both girls are very happy at Ibsen and next year they are planning to increase their enrollment by adding Modern Dance in the mix. The owner is also very accommodating to parents with dancers that are enrolled in many classes by creating payment schedules that ease the budget. I also like the fact that Ibsen will exchange used dance shoes that dancers have outgrown for other used shoes sizes that will fit them. The staff has always been polite and quick to provide answers when questions come about. If they are not sure of an answer, they will make a phone call to find out information. And if that doesn't get you an answer...someone will call you back the next day. There are open house times set throughout the year for parents to come in and checkout the studio(s) and learn more. Recital fees are very reasonable as well. My dancers are not looking to be professionals one day, but the self-esteem that they gain at Ibsen is priceless!

My daughter is 6 and took dance classes here this past year. She enjoyed it and the program and recital was nice. However, the lady that owns it and is always there is rude and arrogant. If you call and ask a question the first thing she does is say "that was in the letter sent home....... and followed with a rude variation". I have called a few time since between pickups and drop offs not all correspondence is clear when changing dance night duties between my and my husband. I should be able to call in with any questions or go in and ask questions and be helped not talked down to with condescension. Her whole demeanor is unbecoming of a women of her age. She acts with fake sophistication and really needs to learn more about running a business. I did enjoy my daughters experience here. They have great parties for the kids on holidays and the recital was smooth and wonderful. It is unfortunate that I will be switching because I really cant tolerate that twit.
