Wow! The interior of this place was so pink and cute! The worker at the front had the best energy and went out of their way to help me find something I'd like since they were out of brown sugar milk tea.This drink was great! I really enjoyed the popping boba and how smooth the milk tea was.

We walked in as part of the Explore Lawrence 'Summer of Fun' Pass and everything was quite pleasant. We were greeted warmly and our drink was good. Not much more you can ask for when it comes to an afternoon treat!

Very delicious! We had the chewy boba with a milk tea and it was so good!! The staff was very nice and had quick service. They also had very good English and we could hear them perfectly.

I used to really like HiTea at the previous location but I feel like ever since they moved it has not been a great experience. The shop is kind of dirty and unkept, every time I order they are out of the first three ideas I come up with.After being frustrated at them being out of everything I asked the employee for his recommendation and the drink I got was such a flavorless tea it might as well have just been a glass of milk.

I enjoy their tea, and think its really tasty. However, the atmosphere in general feels really unwelcoming a majority of the time.

When Lawrence Kansas surprises us with a warm and breezy day, getting a nice cold drink is a no brainer. Seeing the cute sign and clean storefront on a walk downtown any boba lover would think this was the perfect place. However, after my experiences here I can say, you will be disappointed. Hi Tea is a stain on the beautiful quilt that is downtown Lawrence. From its overworked employees, to its grimy interior, and inconsistent quality, it deserves this two star review. There is rarely more than one person behind the counter actually making orders. To add to the issue, the few people that are working can be rude and dismissive. In one visit, my mother and I went in for smoothies. When she put her straw through the cup's seal it went straight through the plastic bottom and spilled the cold contents all over her and the counter. The woman behind the counter practically threw napkins at her, not even attempting to help us clean up the purple mess. Because of the lack of adequate staff there is almost always a collection of customers waiting for their orders, unfortunately the waiting is not a pleasant experience when the area is unkept and uninviting. Instead of a typical, cute, and relaxed boba shop, you get an assortment of wild colors and skeptical design choices. What surprised me the most was that the inside of the shop was Paris themed. There are crooked pictures all over the bright pink walls and many unrelated figures such as bears and robots on the unwiped tables. the overall aesthetic does not fit that of a boba tea shop or match each other. The couch is covered in stains and crumbs from past boba drinkers and there are napkins and straw wrappers lying around or spilling out of the overfilled trash cans. To make matters even worse the quality of the drinks do not make up for the dirty appearance or bad customer service. Whether it be a tea-less and lukewarm "Milk Tea", inadequately cooked boba or an unblended smoothie. I am not alone in being disappointed by the quality or flavor of an order at HiTea. Despite the frequent disappointments, on a good day I have gotten drinks I was happy with such as the acia smoothie or sunset flower teas, but the fact is the risk of wasted money or appetite is just not worth it. Based on the lack of workers, unsettling interior, and poor quality, it seems that HiTea will never fully live up to the expectations of a true boba tea shop, and that is why it deserves this generous two star review.

I've never been here before and the lady at the register was super helpful and friendly What I ordered was so YUMMY!! If you love boba, come here

Really love this place, good tasting drinks and really nice workers, one of my favorite places in Lawrence!! :DIt's a little small inside but that's really the only thing I would comment on.

This cute Korean boba spot is located in college town lawrence KS, my boyfriend and I were looking around and happen to come across this very hidden gem ! Although Parking is always a struggle in this area there is always off the street parking. But anyway back to the location. It is super cute light pink inside with a really soft vibe inside with a lot of drink choices! I got the blue herbal drink which was sooo good and had a light taste to it just how I love my drinks and my boyfriend had the mango strawberry which was a little on the sweeter side, they were both very good! Will definitely be returning when in the area

Every time i come in i get a smoothie with the popping boba- it's so yummy! Would be nice if staff were a little friendlier but the drink is always good (-:
