My boyfriend and I recently attended an Airliners International Convention at this Hilton. I was excited that it was to be held at a Hilton, because they are my preferred hotel chain. Unfortunately, this Hilton was definitely sub-par. I was surprised, because Hilton is normally a really fantastic brand.We had issues with the lack of lunch offerings at the hotel. Both days, we tried to eat at the hotel restaurant around 1 pm for lunch, and was told they were closed. We had to eat lunch both days at one of the gas stations next door. I thought the free breakfast buffet at the Hilton that we received as part of the convention was terrible. I only ate it the first day. There were no pastries or yogurt available. I requested an iced tea from the wait staff and never received it. The other two days I ate breakfast at the "Starbucks" at the hotel. They had very limited pastries and drink options but it was better than the free breakfast. Unfortunately, this Starbucks did not accept my Starbucks gift card. I did not receive any complimentary water bottles upon check in, even though I'm a Silver Hilton Honors member. I asked the front desk worker and they said they only give water bottles to Gold Hilton Honors members. Weird!We did not receive any maid service in our room during our three night stay. I'm not sure if that was something that we had to request.We enjoyed the dinner at the Saturday night banquet, which was held at this Hilton. The food was surprisingly fantastic! The shining star was the shuttle service to and from the airport. The shuttle drivers were friendly, helpful, and prompt.

The most unprofessional sign I've ever seen in a hotel shuttle. I always tip, but to shame people into it and tell them what you expect to be tipped is insane. Hope he realizes this sign probably causes him to lose more tips than he's gaining. Hilton corporate should be getting involved if this hotel's management team seems to find this appropriate. Do yourself a favor and find a Marriott property.

Ive now understood why this location gets such low reviews. Their parking mobile app is non-functional, their front desk manager refuses to acknowledge any issue. So much for their salt scores. She cannot give me any guarantee of my vehicle's safety with my HH Gold park and fly reservation, nor any assurance that the cvps valetplease system will work. Alyssa refused to take down any information regarding my vehicle license plates or any notes otherwise. Ive attempted to call and text via HH app for over 6 hrs. She denies ever receiving my call, yet Alyssa cannot bring up a call log to contradict my claim. Ill be back to pick up my car tomorrow. No Karen culture here, just calling a spade a spade. Horrible way to treat HH Gold guests.

Short version:Staff was rude at check in. Hotel seems dated. It's. It always what you say, but how you say it. Long Version: my company uses this hotel for business travel. At check in I asked to place my rewards number on my room and a credit card as I planned on dining in the restaurant. Front desk staff simply replied "nope". I asked again, saying I know I may not get the stay credit but I should at least be able to put a card on file and my rewards number to get credit for what I spend in the hotel. Again I was told "nope". I didn't feel like arguing or begging for a better explanation than "NOPE" so I simply decided to not spend money in their establishment. The rooms leave much to be desired. Looks dated but everything seems decently clean for the most part. I will still definitely avoid coming to this hotel again on business or leisure travel.

Very poor experience for a full-fledged Hilton. The room and bed were passable, but the breakfast bar opened at 7AM after the front desk told us it opened at 6:30AM. When it was finally open, we went and grabbed food. To our disgust, the eggs were premade and COLD. They were not even lukewarm. I don't know how this got missed. The rest of the food was buffet style equivalent in quality to a Hampton Inn, even worse than a Hilton Harden Inn. Will not be coming back here! I expect better from a full Hilton.

I'm a Diamond Member with Hilton and have to say over the past couple years this place has gone downhill. We are done staying here. Every time we give it another chance we are reminded why we need to stop coming back. Our most recent visit was this past weekend. Temperatures outside were in the 100s and our AC barely put out air, much less cold air. I complained twice - once the night we arrived and the following morning. The nights were hot and sweaty with a lot of tossing and turning. The rooms are spacious but need updating. There was no conditioner during our stay and lotion was empty on day two. The only positive thing I'll give them is the soaps and lotions we did have smelled amazing!The Starbucks is generally pretty good. The lady who works Saturdays and Sundays is so kind and helps make the mornings good. The breakfast on the other hand is disgusting. Two mornings the eggs were floating in water and not cooked thoroughly - the first morning they smelled and tasted horrible. The potatoes seemed reheated, likely from the day before. And the French toast container was so hot, it burned my hand when I opened it. The bar at night is good for a drink. It was really busy the one time we went. The poor bartender was working alone and getting treated poorly by people. She did a great job tho. What's most annoying to me is when you bring a problem to their attention and they don't even pretend like they care or attempt to fix the problem. Anyways, I recommend a different hotel in the area - Hilton Garden Inn and TownePlace Suites are very nice!

My wife is a Hilton Honors member, but after this experience, she's considering Marriott Hotels in the future. We were in Kansas City for the World Airline Historical Society (Airliners International) convention. Smart guests, and I noticed a few, bring their own fans. Those in the know expect little in terms of air conditioning. This hotel is also understaffed and undermanaged. That's not to say that there's no management, there's simply no leadership. Employees told me that the management is usually absent. This is a sharp contrast to our recent stay at the Marriott Hotel in Dearborn, MI. Mr. Osborn, the manager, was everywhere. The staff thought the world of his leadership, and it showed in the staff's pride. There were superstars at the KC Airport Hilton; Missy, Cathy, and Betty at the desk definitely understood that they were in the HOSPITALITY business. I also recognize Paige in the dining room. Paige's smiling face and enthusiastic greeting were something to look forward to each day of our stay. Paige is a hard worker and will be a success at whatever she decides to do. Message to management: stop managing and start leading. Message to Hilton HQ: we believe you plan to sell this property, so you don't have to invest in it. Get on with it because you are losing loyal customers.

Giving 2 stars based solely on the fact that the drivers to and from the airport and hotel are awesome and the fact you can park your car here. If it wasn't for that I would give 0 stars if I could. The lady at the front desk was super rude, we got up to our room and the heater was stuck on and couldn't switch to A/C. We called down to front desk and were told yeah it's probably the room with broken furnace I can send maintenance up but never did. Definitely don't recommend this place in terms of customer service. Luckily we had to be up in 5 hours anyways so we just turned furnace off and slept with no covers still burning up. Drivers were nice and awesome at least.

Most of the following issues are easily forgiven, if it seemed like the hotel staff actually cared. The lack of communication, empathy, or concern by the hotel staff is the reason why I am actually posting this.1.) NO WATER FOR AN ENTIRE DAY. I think if the hotel just sent an email out telling people who had reservations, prior to check in, that they have no running water, then it would've gone a long way in customer service. Instead, they allowed guests to check in and tell us that water would be restored by 4:30 PM. It was not. It was not restored by 8 PM. When water is restored by 4 AM, it was not hot. When I called down to the front desk and asked if there was hot water, they said no. There was no apology in most of these interactions. It was not until 7 PM at night that they FINALLY offered to move me to another hotel. Who wants to move when they are settled down?!2.) DIRTY ROOM CARPET. I noticed that my carpet was dirty when I took off my shoes and found a used straw and lots of fuzz (?) on the floor in my room. I called to have it clean and nobody came up. I went down to the front desk and asked them to have it cleaned, they sent housekeeping to my room, but she was very confused. Sounds like housekeeping never got the original request that I made to begin with.The irony is they gave me a complementary drink or dessert coupon. That did not do any good because there was no water in the hotel!3.) SKETCHY PARKING APP. I HATE third-party apps, eapecially for parking. I know nothing about this app to include what happens to my financial information. One other reviewer wrote that the app never worked and he could not get in touch with anybody in regards to the app. The hotel needs to stop being cheap and lazy and just charge us for parking themselves.The final thought, why not just give us free parking if there is no water, followed by no hot water?4.) INTERNET NOT WORKING & CUSTOMER SVC. At this point in time, I was not surprised when my Internet did not work. I called down to the front desk and she asked me, "what name were you using?" There was no, "I apologize. I can help you with that." She asked me what name I was using. When I gave her the error code, she (once again) never acknowledged the frustration, but gave me the password for airline crews to get me online. The crew password did not work either. I called her back and she said she would talk to the Internet company. She never once acknowledged that they were wrong or this was frustrating.To recap: there was no water for an entire day, there was no hot water in the morning for a shower, there is no food or drink, there's a third-party app that is a bit sketchy for parking, and the Internet does not work. I think I got an acknowledgment that this was painful once in the past 24 hours. Communication, empathy, and attention to detail by customer service and housekeeping would've solved most of these issues.I probably should've looked at the yelp reviews before booking this place because the amount of one star reviews is significant. I will not make that mistake again.

WORST HILTON EXPERIENCE EVER......NO EXEGGERATION- Checked us into an already occupied room (scary and potentially dangerous situation). No apology given, just hastily switched us rooms- AC not working in new room assigned- Standing water outside room- Exposed wires in hallway connecting to light fixtures.- Elevator not working, left open and not blocked off (I had to put a wet floor sign and trash can in front of the elevator to prevent others (children) from entering- Trash and debris everywhere.- Supposed manager on duty not able to assist, told us to wait until night manager arrived at midnight for assistance.I reached out to the GM, Hilton Guest experience & Diamond complaint email........no response or even acknowledgement of the situation. I have stated with Hilton faithfully for the past 10 years (being Diamond most of that time) and have over 900 nights with the brand. Never have I had an experience like this or been treated with such disregard.
