Hillcrest Thrift

The store itself is pretty scarce on good finds but when I did find things they were at a super low cost. Went in the other day and they had things marked wayyyyy up! I don't know what's happening with thrift stores but y'all are not antique stores so stop marking the prices up like you are.

Love the size, prices, and staff! Like any thrift store you never know what you will find and that's the beauty of this place! Dressing rooms are clean and the store is well-organized.

This place is honestly pretty expensive for clothes. $10 for slacks, $15 for a sweater just seems like a lot for a thrift place. The kitchenware and books were decently priced. It was also a bit dirty, but the staff were friendly! I'd definitely come back, but I wouldn't buy clothes here.

Awh I love Hillcrest. Super, super friendly staff. I remember I found a cute hoodie (like a 90's themed) and a worker said out loud "That would look really good on you." They are helpful and kind. Although there's not a huge selection such as savers, I love this place. I would definitely go if you have the chance.

Drove by 4-17-2024 STORE IS VACANT Closed with no sign if they movedToo Bad and what ever happened to send an Email to notify customers and people who donate on a regular basis? See a new shop opening in South Overland Park, bet the prices will reflect the new location. Too Bad........
