This course plays the best in the fall. Greens are smooth, fairways are in good shape. I strongly recomend this course.

Heritage Park golf course is arguably the best public golf course in the Kinsey metropolitan area. If this golf golf course was not owned by the city and it was owned privately, and they was more funding to really make the complex great and premiere course conditions, it would be known as one of the most balanced, challenging golf courses in KC.. I fondly remember Heritage Park GC, as it was my place of employment during high school. It's a great place to have your first job and learn how to play the game, This course has one of the best and most challenging back nines in the city. 13-18 are some of the stretch of holes you will find!

Heritage Golf Course is one of the nicer courses on the southern end of Olathe. It's a par 71, 7000 yard course and it certainly has it's challenges. If you play from the back tees, you will definitely be tired at the end of the round. You will often find deer, wild turkeys (no not the alcohol) running around. It is a combination of links and tree-lined play, so you get a little bit of both. There are three different smaller lakes that play around the course as well as Coffee Creek. During peak season you are looking at about $29 to ride, which is not bad for a decent course. It is not my favorite course to play, but I will go in a heartbeat. They just got new carts last year, some of their cart paths are a little worn out, but overall the course is in great condition. The greens are good size and roll true. The only bad thing about this course is that it does not properly drain so if you are there after a rain storm, your ball has a tendency to get stuck in the muddy parts of the fairways. Most courses have markers and this course does a decent job of letting you know your distance to the pin. Overall, it's a good course.

Time management, either seperate the tee times or make people get out of the way, and closing at 6:30!! Its 75 degrees in october, let us play. Most likely not visiting again, along with the rude ass marshals

Pretty awful course. Couldn't make the greens slower if they tried. Starter was no help and just sending people off. She was dumb as a bag of rocks causing every group to wait on every tee. Don't recommend, definitely not coming back.

If you like being forced off the golf course before closing which is before dark this is the place for you. Ass hole marshals and staff in general.

Heritage golf course does not even deserve one star. They act as though they are the pebble beach of the state of Kansas although they are the worst golf course I have been to. The customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. I witnessed first hand a heavier set man doing anything in his power to get in an argument with a group of teens even threatening to charge them for a spectator to walk the course. He called the teenagers racist terms because they were people of color. Then, returning from my tee time an older woman with blonde hair refused to give me my money back because I walked instead of using the cart they charged me for which I never said I was going to use. Absolutely ridiculous do not waste your money at this place.

Played this course yesterday. Most courses in this area offer similar rates after 2pm. The greens were horrible. Not maintained at all. Some greens were filled with huge sand areas where they either failed to water the grass or something went wrong. There was no point trying to putt on your line because the ball would bobble all over the place. The tees and fairways were fine. The customer service was all good until we ordered drinks at half way point. The lady was super horrible. She didn't want to be there nor did she wish to serve anyone. They actually charge for tap water. Yup charge for tap water!! 25cents. I would suggest to JoCo to reduce the number the staff they have and it will save them money rather than charge for water. One water station on the golf course!!!This is the last time I play here. I would rather give my business to another club!
