Minus the lady who is notorious and apparently harasses and runs everyone out of the small dog park, this is one of the top parks in the metro. My only complaint is that the smaller area has restrictions on dogs that can go in there making it difficult for owners of both large and small dogs. The large dog park can be overwhelming for small dogs. Although most didn't mind a large dog in the small dog park, one lady was terrified of the fact that Chief (the most calm dog ever) being in there and around her dog. This made for a bad experience as she was very rude and threatened to call authorities when Chief was just laying in the grass minding his own business. The large dog park has a great trail for walking around. A large open grassy area in the middle for dogs to run and play although I would imagine it gets muddy when there is rain as it is lower than the walking area. The park has a course with different toys the dogs can play and train on. The people at the park were friendly and I didn't see any dogs with behavior issues. If you are a dog parent, you have to check out this park. You will not be disappointed (unless the one lady targets you.)

This is the dog park we always choose to come to. Amenities: fenced-in/off-leash dog park, water fountains for people and pets, portapotty, separate playground for the kids, small dog and big dog side, dog agility course, shade, benches, and paved walking trail. We have the occasional problem with people that bring their unruly dogs in, but most of time it's just fine. It's right under the water tower and is usually packed on weekends.

This park has all the potential to be a 5 star park. However, I've been skipping this park in favor of Dogwood lately. There is a low point in the big grassy area that collects water. I would deal with it for a few days after a heavy rain, but this mud puddle persists for weeks after a rain. A fellow dog park frequenter mentioned to me he stopped going to this park for the same reason, and mentioned it may be a broken water pipe or something. My dog gets into the mud, and also drinks it and gets sick for about 24 hours. This happened on 3 different occasions. Please set up the environment for the pups to succeed. Put some sand out there, a cheap fence, anything. This has to be resolved! As soon as the issue is permanently resolved, I'd be happy to update this review to 5 stars. Until then, the park is literally unusable and I won't be returning.
