Wow, I've never seen dueling pianos like this before! They had drums and a fiddle to go along with the pianos. Highly recommend if you're wanting a fun night out with great music! Definitely want to reserve a table ahead of time so you'll have a place to sit and watch.

It's been a long time since I've been to a piano bar, but tonight was a blast. Hammers just opened this weekend and fortunately it wasn't packed just yet, but there was still already a pretty good crowd for a fresh opening. It's a standard dueling piano setup with a drum setup, full bar, and seating for about 130 comfortably. The drink menu is eclectic to say the least with half a dozen house drinks ($10-14) and 4 fishbowl drinks ($22). I was fairly impressed by some of the top shelf booze selections as well. No food that I'm aware of (yet). So maybe eat dinner prior to coming out. Anecdotally, service was primo, but I'm fairly certain our server only had a few tables. Everything looked to basically be brand new...the stage, bathrooms, tables/chairs, etc. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the parking situation; and not because there wasn't any, but it's a pay lot out back. I'm told it's not crazy expensive, but probably tacks on $15-18 if you're here for a few hours. Regardless, it's reasonably priced for a fun night out. Strongly recommend dropping by and enjoying this new spot.

This is my favorite new spot in KC. I've been to probably 10 dueling piano bars across the country and this one had a great vibe. It is easy to make reservations ahead of time and the bar had a good selection of different beer and cider instead of just the same standard options. The bartender knew his selection and was able to make recommendations. I went on Halloween and although the crowd was small due to the holiday the two pianists played their hearts out (for 4 hours straight without a break). They had great rapport with each other which made it so much fun, and if they didn't know a certain song they would let you know so they could swap it out with a substitute or let you pick a new one. I will definitely be back and bring some friends. Pictured is their mural of musicians.

WOW-EE. This place is truly incredible, words can't even describe. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We went in on a Saturday right when they opened and Brett and Hannah gave amazing drink recommendations and were super friendly and fun to chat with. They even gave us delicious dinner recommendations! When we returned later in the evening for the live music/dueling pianos, I can't describe it better than a warm, welcoming hug. The atmosphere here is indescribable. The music was amazing and everyone was singing along. We were all laughing and truly having the time of our lives. You can really tell that the people playing love what they're doing. I can say with confidence that this is one of the best places I have experienced in my life. I wish I lived a lot closer and could come here every weekend! This place, to me, is what pure joy feels like.

Hammers is so fun! They have dueling piano shows on the weekends. It is something different to do, I don't think there is another piano bar in the city! It is just a short walk over from Westport (I recommend getting dinner somewhere in Westport then coming to a show), they have ample parking and seating. The bar is well stocked and their signature cocktails met our expectations. One of the best parts might be the drink specials! They have discounts tor "shots of the hour" which is super fun! There weren't a lot of people when I went, but the whole team put on a great show! It's super interactive and all of the pianists are funny and welcoming. Someone bought everyone a "shot of the hour" which was a fun way to connect the whole room. I definitely recommend this place for a date night or a night out with friends and family! They take requests of course and the piano version of gin and juice by snoop dogg was certainly memorable!! It's something fun and different to do! We will definitely be back!
