Hamilton Baking Company & Cafe

I really liked this small bakery in Hamilton MO. It is next door to one of the MSQC's store. The coffee is good with a tasty selection of baked goods. Not a lot of room inside, but tables are available outside, too. I enjoyed reading the little notes pinned to their bulletin board. People come from the UK, Australia, Mexico, Canada and every state to visit. Husband and I left our note too.

I go to Hamilton for quilting supplies. Quite possibly one of the most popular places in the United States for quilters. The Hamilton Baking Company used to be better. I bought a Danish roll with a frappe. The Danish roll filling was on the dry side. It didn't taste fresh. The frappe was a frappe. There's better places to eat in Cameron (and a great quilt shop). While I'll certainly go back to Hamilton, I'd skip this bakery.

A small and clean bakery/café with a country elegant feel. I had a tall caramel Macchiato and an almond cookie drizzled with white chocolate. Both were well made and had me wishing I had bought more to take home by the time I had left the city limits. The cinnamon rolls and strawberry cheesecake pastry looked amazing and the vanilla lemonade served from a glass crock has me contemplating a return trip. A very cool looking establishment with an above average selection in a small rural town. Nice Job!

Pretty solid place for breakfast along 36. I had the breakfast burrito and it had a wonderful flavor Profile. Their cherry lime lemonade was delicious. One thing I didn't like is that there was no WiFi to get some work done.

This was a fantastic place to eat! If you're a quilter and make a trip to Hamilton, Mo to their quilt shops, then to keep up your strength have lunch at the Hamilton Bakery and Cafe! Fantastic chicken salad and lemon bars to die for!!

We stopped in and bought 2 cookies. The chocolate oatmeal butterscotch and almond cookie. Just so so. Wouldn't stop again. $2 each. Nothing special. Hard and boring.

My girlfriends are visiting MSQ and since we're staying in Hamilton, we hoped there would be more dining choices. We ate at HBC twice and found the menu options disappointing for the price. No healthy options and the staff acted like it was a nuisance to be working there. Warning if you come to visit...bring your own food.

Love this place! We had a Turkey Bacon Cranberry panini and it was excellent! Everything was fresh and best panini we have ever had! Seating both inside and outside. If you are in Hamilton to visit the quilt shops, this is a great place to take a break! Thanks!

Bakery is good and so is the coffee. Major stars off because the 2nd day we went, the guy had plastic gloves on, touched the register buttons to take our order, take the money, and HANDLE OUR FOOD he went to the back and we asked the other girl to replace it and she did no problem. How disgusting!!
