Their burgers come packed with a variety of ingredients yet the flavors fall flat. Using canned pineapple as a topping didn't help the situation; it felt like an odd and uninspired choice. The overall taste was bland despite the abundance of ingredients. The real issue, however, lies in the establishment itself. The tile floor looks like it hasn't been properly scrubbed in ages, and the restroom is in dire need of a complete overhaul--it's outdated and poorly maintained. The ceiling is also an eyesore, with drywall cutouts for air vents that are packed with thick layers of dust. It's clear that despite the steady stream of customers, NO effort has been made to invest in improving the space. With so many great burger places out there, I'd recommend steering clear of this one until they clean up their act--literally and figuratively.(4 visits in 6 months)

The food is deliciously tasty and well served. To-go and dine-in service is always easy and pleasant. The ambiance is busy, but you'll enjoy your food regardless. This family business is a perfect spot to enjoy the best seasoned Mexican-style hamburgers (Juarez & Hawaiian are our favorite) and tortas! We also enjoy their caldo, tacos & menudo. All their salsas are on point-- habanero is my favorite!

Tacos were okay, the chicken seemed a little overcooked. Staff was very friendly and was able to make a vegetarian taco for me. The interior was pretty basic, but the photos on the walls were nice. Sauce was delicious but very spicy.

How do you celebrate National Cheeseburger Day AND Hispanic Heritage Month simultaneously? Hamburguesas Los Compas of course! One of my fondest cheeseburger memories was served from a late night food cart in the small city of Papantla, Veracruz. The smashed burger, the split open and grilled hot dog, and the sizzling thin slices of ham on the grill; all falling on top of each other on a large grilled bun with sliced avocados, shredded lettuce, tomato and, mayo made for a perfect blend of smells and tastes to satiate and soak up a night in the cantinas. My Juarez Burger at HLC today was just as splendid and the same ingredients plus bacon! Add fries, a bottle of Jarritos soda, chips, and salsa for $13: a fusion of North America's greatest offerings. A messy and tasty carnivorous masterpiece.

It's hard to believe, but a Mexican restaurant is the best place to get a burger. Great beef, fresh veggies, and the perfect sides for a tasty lunch. I've had their burritos and tacos also and they are great! They are good about taking Covid precautions, so they get high marks from me all the way around.

Ordered on DoorDash, this shit hole accepted my order and then canceled 30 minutes later. A refund was issued but won't be available for 5 to 7 days. Shitty way to run a business if you ask me. Do not eat here

Honestly the staff were very very nice, I had ordered a steak burrito and Horchata but soon realized I was about to be late for a meeting, I told the cashier/waitress that I would back after 3, When I arrived back to the restaurant she remembered me and told me they had just finished making the order. The burrito was constructed well and stayed together throughout eating it, the horchata had a stronger peppermint flavor and I wasn't too fond of it, but The consistency matched what I was used to. All in all this was a very good experience, the green chili sauce was sooo good it reminded me of my great grandma and great aunt's green chili! They bring the heat in a very good way!

First things first. This is *the single hottest hot sauce* ever encountered in my continuing quest to try every Mexican restaurant in Kansas City, a task I'm starting to think is pretty much impossible to accomplish even though my count surely stands at around 50 different joints. How hot? Think Thai hot curry. Bite into a raw jalapeno. About that hot, but tasty, and definitely made in-house the waitress said.So yes, I know. I came to a restaurant specializing in Mexican style burgers and didn't get one. But that's OK, it was a fairly stock menu so I opted for the Enchiladas Verde with beef. Dish came with rice and beans which were good, not necessarily great, 3 enchiladas with a bit of cheese melted over and sour cream (which I immediately regretted OK'ing--they asked). The beef had an unusual lingering after taste which I couldn't put my finger on but can't say it was necessarily pleasant. Still, I cleaned my plate. The beef was seasoned well as was pretty much everything else but wasn't particularly interesting. One thing about this place is obvious. This is home cooking. I don't think these people are career restaurateurs. I think it's hard scrabble make a living by necessity, and by darn they're doing a pretty decent job I'd have to say.Usually I don't get overly concerned about the decor of a dive restaurant as long as the food is good, but the uninspiring semi-sticky, heavy, plastic table cloths, the awful 1980s style ceiling fans with awkward lighting and the obvious conversion of a space never intended to be a restaurant just didn't work so well. But still, half full on a Friday night and a good number of folks coming through for carry out. Single strangest experience--the bathroom light is about 6' off the ground hidden inside the men's bathroom. Thank goodness for an iPhone light or I never would have found it. Bizarre. Service was pleasant and prompt, and the meal was proceeded by chips along with a fairly normal red sauce and the small container of aforementioned 5-alarm fire. Chips never make me happy... it's a gringo thing, and I don't want that.If you come: all major credit cards accepted. Expect an underwhelming dining space, street parking seemed plentiful and safe enough, and nosh on that hot sauce and you'll be tasting it an hour later as I am right now. I'd return with a friend for lunch and try the burger. I think that's likely the thing to go for.

The service was great and these might be the best tacos in KC. Highly recommend going and checking the place out. I will definitely go back to try the other items on the menu.
