Service at the bar is awesome! Regular and hot sauce mixed is perfection.

Great time at Habaneros over Labor Day weekend. My wife was skeptical because of some of not great reviews on Yelp, but I really want to try their 747 monster burrito challenge. Turns out, her fears were needless, as we had a great time. Parking lot seemed packed when we pulled in on a Saturday at 5:15 but we were seated immediately, order taken and the waiter was surprised and trouble checked to make sure I actually wanted tot take on their burrito challenge, but I was sure. Orders were placed and food all arrived in less than 15 minutes. I had a great time going to town on this thing. I was packed with all their meats and cover is sauce and cheese which it so easy to eat. The staff was genuinely excited to watch me eat, as were some of the patrons surprisingly. I was given 30 minutes but only need 9:06 to complete the 5lb burrito. Got the meal for free, a short and was deemed "a unit" by one of the younger server, lol. If you like Mexican food and fun theme/environment, give habaneros a try when you're in the area.

A Stellar Experience at Habaneros RestaurantIf you're looking for a fun and tasty dining experience, sitting at the bar at Habaneros Restaurant is the way to go. The service is outstanding--efficient, friendly, and engaging without being intrusive. The bartenders and staff create a lively and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. The food at Habaneros never disappoints. Each dish arrives piping hot and is perfectly seasoned, with no fear of blandness. The fresh lettuce and tomatoes used in their dishes add a delightful crunch and burst of flavor.Every meal we've had here has been consistently delicious. Despite trying many other Mexican restaurants in the area (we love to explore), we always find ourselves returning to Habaneros. It feels like coming home.Whether you're a local or just passing through, Habaneros Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Tex Mex cuisine. Highly recommended!

Stopped in today for lunch and ordered the Fajitas to split between two of us. We ordered the combo steak and chicken, and it was delicious. The steak was tender and juicy as well as the chicken grilled very nicely. Also included was a generous portion of rice and refried beans as well as the garnishments including lettuce, pico d gallo, sour cream, and guacamole. We had 3 tortillas to share which was plenty for us for lunch. There are plenty of places to sit for dining including a bar area and two separate dining areas. Jill took good care of us and brought out plenty of chips and salsa and filled our drinks. Be sure to get the Habey dip!

I really hate to bring this up, but for the last couple of months it's gotten colder and. You know it's cold when even the employees are complaining about it. Either turn up the heat or expect to see fewer of your regulars.

Tonight was hungry for some good Mexican food. The scene inside was very inviting. I loved the set up inside which made you think fun atmosphere. Luckily we made it before happy hour. Our sever came over to greet us and was very friendly. He brought us our chips and salsa but wanted a salsa with some heat. They did not disappoint. Our drinks arrived within a timely fashion. It was water and a pink lemonade. I ordered the happy hour margarita. Drink had plenty of alcohol but flavor did not hit me as awesome but alright. Next we order the Habbey dip and the deep fried tacos. They both were delicious and wanted to try some other entrees but were full. The desserts sounded great but we had to pass on them because of the great food. Will go back.

Last minute decision to grab some Mexican Saturday night and WOW what a great choice we made. Typically we go for the taco Tuesday special so I never venture out past that because who wouldn't love deep fried beef tacos. Well I went for the Mexican pizza this time and I was floored. The best one I've ever had. My husband had some nachos and they loaded with tons of meat, and white cheese. If you're out in LS area go try this place it's a staple out here.

Habaneros is an airplane themed Mexican restaurant that serves tasty entrees and drinks that pack a punch! Along with house mild salsa, this spot also serves you medium as well as hot salsa if you ask. We also love to start our meals off with a queso dip for the table. My favorite entree is the Lucky Linda's Dinner from the healthy entree section - marinated chicken breast on a bed of lettuce topped with pico de gallo, fresh cilantro, and Monterey Jack cheese. Two other table favorites include the Habey's Spicy Skillet found in the healthy section and the Alambres Mexico dish found in the Fight Destination section on the menu. With a large menu and a variety of options to choose from, there will be something delicious on the menu that everyone in your party will enjoy! Add Habaneros to your KC Bucket List today!

We love Habeneros! My mom and I went out to celebrate taco Tuesday and the service did not disappoint. We had a waiter who said he was in training, but he was amazing! Wish I could remember his name is give him a shoutout (blonde kid). Our food came out fast and every single person who helped us was super friendly. The Mexicalli and the Fiesta Bowl were both sooo yummy and came with more food than we could eat! I love the decor in here. We will be back!

Love this place! I come here often with friends and love the food. Anything you get is going to be worth it. Try the more adventurous sauces, the medium & spicy have a kick with good flavor. The staff is always friendly and when you ask for a box for leftovers they will also bring you a sack of chips and some salsa to take with you.

The food wasn't horrible, the queso was pretty good, but the salsa is closer to marinara sauce or ketchup, so be aware. However this is my main complaint. Watch out for deceptive waiters attempting to get a double tip. Our Hispanic male waiter brought my grandmother the tab and it was $115 for all 6 of us. She luckily looked at the total, because when he brought her card back the total was $134 WITH the line to add a tip. At this point the receipt he brought was not itemized, which was a red flag. She was about to add 20%, but luckily she thought to ask for an itemized receipt. After about 5 minutes of waiting for an itemized receipt, we were finally shown our full bill. The waiter had already added 18% to our bill, and would've been receiving an almost 40% tip had we not noticed. Nothing on the menu or on any sign on the wall, that was visible to me, said anything about a standard gratuity. There were 6 people in our party, and we were at the restaurant for about an hour. We didn't require an immense amount of attention and certainly not enough to warrant a $46 tip. I later called the restaurant and they informed me that their policy was an 18% gratuity for parties of 8 or more, so we didn't even qualify in the first place. I'm a bartender, and I've worked in food service for my entire adult life, but this is ridiculous. I would strongly recommend the managers of habaneros begin requiring their staff to be transparent about any included gratuity for large parties, and make sure guests get itemized receipts. We will not be returning to habaneros due to the blatant deceptive practices of one of your staff members.
