Green Meadows Park

You can quickly immerse yourself in nature at this beautiful, nicely maintained park. It is located along a creek in a nice residential area, so the sounds of traffic quickly disappear and are replaced by bird calls and a babbling brook.Amenities include a play area with swings and park benches, a gazebo, two open areas (one with two picnic tables), a bridge over the creek, and a 0.7 mile, nine feet wide, bike/hike trail winding through a wooded area. Continue east along the trail and you will connect with the trail at Creekside Park. I encountered several friendly, cheerful walkers during my visit.No dedicated parking was available, but I easily found parking near one of the residential access trailheads.This is an excellent neighborhood park. It makes me wish I had one just like it closer to my house.
