Kids Mac and cheese doesn't come with fries. Raise that price ONE DOLLA ! That would cure EVERYTHING. Poor little Johnny can't enjoy a bowl of Mac and cheese and fries on the side. And poor Johnnys mom can't afford her second glass of wine because Johnny got upset and threw such a tantrum that his mom had to get a whole side of fries. Ranch was good!

Well, this place is fun! The staff was super kind and welcoming to a couple of strangers from Lee Summit. Waldo is an area of town that we are very fond of and consider living in at some point. We have seen this place while driving through town a couple of times and my wife looked it up on the Internet and wanted to stop here and have lunch or dinner.She ordered the Chicken Spiedini. She's never been to Garozzo's or had it before. She loved it!!! She ate half and took the rest home for another full meal. I had the turkey sandwich and a side salad. Both were good. We had chips and queso for an appetizer and apparently there was a cheese shortage in the kitchen. A couple of tablespoons or cheese were offered. Double the amount or at least filling up the tiny cup instead of leaving it half full would have been nice. We'd both be happy to return someday.

We went on a Friday night and it was super crowded but somehow we got a table for three in 10-15 minutes. Well, actually I know how - once they seat you they serve you like lightning and there is a definite "Anything else no okay here's your bill bye" vibe. But I love Governor Stumpy's cheeseburger more than little baby ducks so it's fine. Also had a fun cocktail (pictured) called a Stump Water that was basically a Mai Tai. Prices are good, other dishes are also tasty like the BLT and the fries are excellent; very thin and salty. Overall I recommend but don't go on a Friday or Saturday night if you want a relaxed meal.

We love the Gov! We try to go once a week or at least a couple of times a month. I typically order their chicken spedini. It's my favorite dish there. Although, a few weeks ago their center cut sirloin was on special so I gave it a go. It was tender and they cooked it perfect. The service is always prompt and friendly. Love this neighborhood, locally owned, awesome restaurant.

I went in and thoroughly enjoyed my Cobb Salad, with chicken that was still hot and steaming. All ingredients were very fresh. My server was super warm and accommodating (he didn't care that I brought it my metal water bottle instead of drinking out of their plastic cups). Generally a lively atmosphere. I'll be back!

Visited for the first time this week while my car was being worked on, and we were blown away. The food was phenomenal- it reminded me of home (although 10x better). You MUST order the Pistachio Pudding Cake. It's the best slice of cake I think I've ever had.The service was top-notch. Everyone we encountered was so kind and eager to tell us their favorite menu items. They truly seem to love this place, and I can see why.

We LOVE Stumps!!!! Kevin is the nicest and we always look forward to seeing him. Their menu is huge and has so much to pick from. I've been going here since I was little and the food has never disappointed. We love the Irish vibe in the bar!! Such a neighborhood staple. Can't recommend enough. Slainte!!!!!

We'd never been here before and decided to give it a try. We came in on Friday at 11:15 and it was fairly empty so we were seated right away. We ordered mozzarella sticks and they came out super quick, before we ordered our food but we were hungry so it was fine and they looked great. This is my go to appetizer so I dug in. Unfortunately they looked better than they tasted. The flavor was kind of ok but the texture was super creamy like American cheese instead of the chewy you get from your normal mozz stick. I was with my mom and she just overall didn't like them. The waitress came to check back on how they were and offered to drop them back in the fryer which seemed like an odd solution for the wrong kind of cheese so we declined. We ordered chicken fingers to split for the meal and they were fine. Standard prefab chicken. The fries though - OMG. I WOULD GO BACK JUST FOR THESE. I love me a good French fry and these were so good. Add some ranch and I no longer cared about the flaws in the other items. When we were done and the bill came, my mom asked about having the mozzarella sticks taken off the bill since we didn't eat them. The waitress said something about how she offered us a solution but people like them and they are good and that was that......or so we thought. Then shit got weird. A tall bald dude came over and crouched down next to the table, introduced himself as the owner of the establishment and, in a lovely and condescending tone said he had been told we didn't like his mozzarella sticks and asked what he could do to improve them. I let him know that I considered myself to be somewhat of a connoisseur of mozzarella sticks and while these were edible, the texture was just weird. Even though he had just asked me what he could do to improve them, he then advised me that I ought not order them again as they would be the same each and every time I reordered them. My mom mentioned again that she though the taste and texture were off from a normal mozzarella stick and wondered if it was mozzarella or a different type of cheese, to which he flippantly responded "yeah it says that right on the box!". He again reminded us that on future visits we should avoid ordering this item as it would be the same each time which I assured him would not be an issue. He did end up taking the mozzarella sticks off the bill but not before revealing himself to be a complete and total douchebag. I will, however, still be going back for the fries.
