An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Gordon Ramsay Steak!Kansas City food lovers, this one is a must-visit! Gordon Ramsay Steak at Harrah's Casino exceeded all my expectations, delivering an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is stunning--a modern take on an English pub, blending contemporary design with rich, inviting furnishings. The vibrant colors and chic décor set the perfect mood for an upscale yet welcoming dining experience. Their wine selection is also top-tier, with a well-curated wine cellar to perfectly pair with your meal.We started with a round of appetizers, including: * Smoked Beef Tartare - A flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth bite * Lobster Risotto - Creamy, rich, and indulgent * Scallops - Perfectly seared and beautifully presentedWe also enjoyed some soup and salad, both fresh and well-prepared.For the main course, we couldn't pass up their famous steaks. Every cut was cooked to perfection, and the sides were just as impressive--especially the Mac & Cheese, which was unbelievably rich and creamy. We also tried the Roasted Chicken and, of course, Gordon Ramsay's signature Beef Wellington--an absolute showstopper! To end the night, we indulged in Sticky Toffee Pudding, Cheesecake, and Carrot Cake, paired with some of the best Espresso Martinis I've ever had. This was easily one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Kansas City. From the impeccable service to the beautiful presentation and unforgettable flavors, everything was flawless. If you haven't been yet, put Gordon Ramsay Steak on your list! Highly recommend.

Food - really good for what I ordered but way expensiveService - great attentive but not over-bearing a hard balance to achieveAmbiance - dark ish steak restaurant but J.Gilbert's does better1st time here. Checked out the menu b4-hand, and went in knowing this is a $$$$ kind of placeSome American Wagyu Filet is $100 and Japanese Wagyu is 40 / oz w a 3 oz minimum!!!All appetizers are the same price like 15, so not all over the place/price.Pendergast drink 4 me was perfect - and will be having my leftovers for sure.Great place to go for an extravagant (!!!) and indulgent meal w/o going to Vegas/NY/CA price point ceilings.

The overall temperature and quality of the food fell significantly short of expectations. Despite being a well-known chain restaurant that boasts a reputable name and comes with a hefty price tag, the dining experience did not reflect the standards one might anticipate. The dishes arrived lukewarm and lacked the vibrancy and freshness that should characterize a top-tier establishment. It was disappointing to see that the high costs did not correlate with the level of satisfaction typically associated with such a renowned brand.

Came here for our anniversary dinner! The ambiance is lovely, the service was amazing, and the food was absolutely fantastic. We got the scallop risotto, beef wellington, and sticky toffee pudding. We have gotten this same meal several times at different gordon locations, and ever time is better than the last! It was all so delicious and highly recommend for a celebratory dinner of any kind.

Two friends and I ate here last night and had such a great time! We all got the tasting menu. I also ordered the wine flight that goes with it, one friend got the Midnight Fizz. Our other friend ordered a Riesling. Everything was phenomenal! The restaurant was cozy, and our waitress was so pleasant and informed about the menu. It was a relaxing and fulfilling experience. I loved every course, but the sticky toffee pudding was my favorite!

My first time visiting and we tried the tasting menu. Our server Jaqueline was amazing and so friendly. It's a very romantic vibe with hints of England and Ramsey. We got such nice take away menus. The overall meal was in the salty side for my tastes which was a little letdown; I just can't take large amounts of sodium at my age The Citrus salad was perfectly balanced with hints of citrus, arugula and ibérico ham. Delicious! My risotto al dente which was unpleasant. The scallops were cooked perfectly. My Wellington was served so hot and delicious; but also aggressively salted. The potato puree was shiny and over beaten. The carrots and turnips were tender and delicious. The dessert was FANTASTIC, I wish I could have poured my own toffee after I had cut into it to sop up more of that delicious sauce. The brown butter ice cream was perfection!Overall it was a fun indulgent evening.

Almost a perfect meal, I've eaten at Ramsey's Burger in Vegas and honestly wasn't impressed. I was nervous about going here because of that and the fact that Caesar's pays these celebrities basically for their name on these restaurants. Guy Fieri's restaurant at Harrah's in Laughlin is hit or miss too. Overall this was an excellent experience. The bread and salad were delicious. The scallop risotto was good, but smaller scallops than my husband received and one of them was overcooked. Some of the risotto was a little crunchy too. The beef Wellington was cooked perfectly and exceptional. The carrots served along side of the potato puree were yummy too. The dessert was also pretty amazing and the ice cream served like a butter stick was a cute touch. Service was pretty spot on and the ambiance was inviting, but nothing too impressive.

My husband and I had a dinner date here and will definitely return! The restaurant is beautiful and very romantic. For dinner, we did the Tasting Menu, which has: arugula and citrus salad, scallop risotto, beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding. As neither of us are fans of arugula, the salad was okay. The scallop and mushroom risotto was delicious!!! The rice was cooked perfectly. It was our first time trying beef Wellington and we both loved it. The beef was very juicy and the pastry very flaky. The accompanying potato purée and vegetables were also very good. Finally, as the cherry on top of a wonderful meal, the sticky toffee pudding was so rich and moist!!! The brown butter ice cream was formed into a stick of butter. Very beautiful presentation!

Rating is based on two components of the meal: Food and Service.Food: We had one pre fix menu and one meal ala cart. The arugla salad had to be, by far, the most disgusting thing in my life. This must be personal taste as my wife said, "It isn't amazing but not horrible." I personally couldnt stomach more than a bite. Then the risottos come out. I had the lobster tail risotto and wife had scallop risotto. Nothing to write home about. Bland, not inspiring. I make better risotto in my instant pot at home. But again, not horrible, just not good. Wife recieves her beef wellington which she liked, I did not. I receive my dry aged ribeye. My steak was good. Due to service, we packed up and left and had the sticky toffee pudding boxed up. When sampling it, incomplete (see service), it was decent. Probably better fresh verses 45 minutes later.Service: I believe our server was Ethan. Very nice guy, just not a great server. When getting the pre fix meal, you get to keep the menu. He took ours. Now dinner was taking longer and I guess there is was kitchen hiccup. We never said anything and Ethan come up to us and told us about the delay. He talked to his manager about it (we never asked him too). After the meat course, we asked for dessert to be boxed up too and we will head out. He said it comes with ice cream, would we want it to go, have it there or skip. I said we will take ice cream home. He gives us our to go bag and the bill. I remind him about getting the menu back. He said he will hand us one. He comes back with the change and told us good night. Guess no menu to take home. Got home and unpacked everything, no ice cream, no sauce for pudding, nothing. But the manager did deduct the lobster risotto off the bill for the delay (again, we never said anything).Either the restaurant performed badly or I have no idea why Gordon is a star chef. Food was not good and not worth the expense. But my wife had a good night, so its fine.
