Empty store multiple people working no assistance from anyone. 2 employees looked at me and proceeded with what they were doing. Nice store large inventory. But extremely messy. There is stuff everywhere almost to the point it's overwhelming. My money wasn't important went to another store no biggie.

Great selection. Friendly staff. The blonde fellow with the (septum I think it was?) piercing made me smile. Found the sake I was looking for!

Buyer beware: Worst customer service experience in years. Staff is unprofessional, disrespectful and seemingly unwilling to take simple steps to meet minimal customer service expectations. Successfully placed an order on Drizly's site. Contacted Gomer's to confirm delivery...they tell me I didn't place an order? Despite providing the order number?? Then, 2 hours later, Gomer's calls me back after magically locating my order...but they tell me that they don't have what I purchased in stock?! Next, this beyond rude female employee proceeds to birade me about a disconnect between Gomer's and Drizly before begrudgingly attempting to find subpar substitutions for my original selections. When the order was eventually delivered, the box was unsealed and didn't even include the gift messages originally requested. TERRIBLE SERVICE. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. TERRIBLE STAFF. DO BETTER GOMER'S & DRIZLY.

The selection is excellent and so are the prices. However, they are extremely rude and standoffish. One morning approximately 10:15 AM, I tried to enter and they stated " we not open yet. They did the same thing to two other customer. We remained outside for about five minutes then I reapproached, and ask what time will they be open. She states 10 minutes. I quickly departed as well as otherDo better Gomer, this is ridiculous.

Whenever I'm in town this is normally my go to liquor store. Been coming here for years and they always have what I need. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and always have good recommendations whenever I want to try something new.

Staff are incredibly knowledgeable about scotch in general and there is a decent selection of French wines for a smaller shop like this one. Good prices.

Without question the only place I ever purchase my liquor from in KC. These guys know my family by our names and even specifically order and stock our favorite ROGUE spirits & beer. If you ask me- that is exceptional customer service! Cheers and so much love to the Gomer's guys!

I go to Gomers South since it is open late after my shift. If you can go somewhere else. I would recommend that you go somewhere else. It used to be that Gomer employees knew their product and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Over time this store has deteriorated If you ask these guys questions they do not know their products or even their inventory. I asked about east European and they did not know where or what that was. They pointed out they had wine from France. The floors are filthy and product that is not moving is dusty as a tomb. The back room that perpetually advertises a wine sale with dusty stained signs is also filled with chaotically scattered cases of stored extra products blocking the aisles. Old tattered display cases used to seem quaint, even charming As the store has deteriorated they now seem just cheap and trashy. One of the most aggravating things is that literally half the items are unpriced. You are expected to bring each item to the front so they can price it and then they wait expectantly for you to automatically buy it. I have had to tell them 3x that no, I just wanted the price and it is too high. They have all kinds of products scattered around on the register counter that are unpriced. Even cases of brands that have just come in are unpriced. They have a rickety shelf filled with one off items or several of the same. All are unpriced . It looks like a sale self. No these are discontinued items, but no price break. To price them you have to bring them to the register. I am sometimes asked if I found what I wanted. I have many times complained about the lack of pricing and they have never seen it as being an issue. I tell them I am so tired of it that if there is no price I now stop to consider buying the item. They have no reaction. I remember a once dynamic, proud local chain called Ber biglia also go down hill like this, finally going out of business. This Gomers seems to be following such a parallel path. If there was another late night store in the area, I would go there

Black employees being racist and harrassed us since our face covering was cloth. Went to Lucas Liquor and they had zero issues with our face covering.
