Absolutely the best farm to table American traditional restaurant in the state. There Sunday family style fried chicken meal is unbelievably good.

Home made food that will take you back in time to your grandmother's kitchen. Meals are served on dishes you would recognize from when you were a kid if you are 40+. Food is delicious. Love the smoked pork chop and the melt in your mouth steak. My kids LOVE the grilled chicken on the kids menu. Great flavors.

We have been to Goldie's twice. I'm a tad hesitant to leave a review. I really want to recommend and praise their restaurant. And yet. A selfish part of me doesn't want everyone to know about it. We went there last Sunday for their Fried chicken dinner. (Dinner in the old sense) It was as though we were transported to my Grandmothers farmhouse dining room for Sunday dinner (lunch) after working in the fields. Everything served family style. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, white gravy, green beans, soft rolls, iced tea. My wife had the garden salad with their heirloom tomatoes. My wife ordered the strawberry shortcake, I told the waitress I wanted to see hers before I decided between that or the coconut cream pie. She sat my wife's dessert on the table and I said "oh yeah, I'm having that".Great ambiance Great foodGreat serviceOhAnd a great price.But rememberDon't tell anyone else!

Food is always delicious! Cozy restaurant in a small town. Fried chicken is the best. We eat here often.

Oh man...this was a hard one. I so wanted to love this place. We came specifically for the pan fried chicken. Just to get it out there...my chicken was cooked perfectly, but it was so bland. Like they didn't season the it at all. At all! My daughter's chicken was not perfectly cooked...it was burnt, I mean like black cinder on some of it. They were legs and she just ate the half that wasn't charred. The sides were great. What's weird is that the green beans and the gravy actually had a kick of seasoning to them. They were really good. They messed up the order a little as two of the people specifically asked for no gravy, even repeating it because they're weird and really dislike gravy. Salad was ok. This place seats about 30ish. It's like a big dining room in someone's house. Staff was pleasant, but there weren't enough to cover everyone. We lucked out when we got there as a table must have just opened up. Other people had to wait for quite sometime. Food took a little longer than expected. 2 piece plate starts at 15, 4 piece at 18. I took some of the leftovers home and seasoned them and they were great. I can't really validate a higher rating since those pieces were served visibly burnt. I would have probably given it another try, but the wife and kids said never again.

Excellent pan fried chicken, homemade mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetable of your choice, roll & delicious desserts!! The service was top notch as well! Will definitely be returning!!
