Comfortable local joint with thoughtful unique drinks. Went during the daytime where it was a bit slower, comfortable atmosphere, quick friendly service, great Halloween decorations. The drink's seem to rotate seasonally, are fun, feel thoughtful and are below the market. We got the butter beer which wasn't overly sweet, light, fizzy and actually quite wonderful. The cocktails wasn't a cop out and felt like it was worth the money. The espresso martini was made with a fresh pull espresso that is the star of the drink. Not alcoholic at all which is scary. Overall 2 thumbs up.

Pretty solid neighborhood cocktail bar. A good number of specialty cocktails. But of course, there are also local beers on tap, non-alcoholic beverages, wine, and coffee. Some of the staff are more personable than others. If it gets too busy, they have a small outdoor area you can escape to. Their espresso martini is delicious. It's not too sweet and not too strong, just right. But if you want to level it up: there's the Spice Gourds.

Goat and Rabbit updates their House Cocktails every month based on seasonal flavors, and holidays. To my surprise, not only did they have their October/Fall House Cocktails, they also had Halloween styled drinks as well! They even decorated the bar with a spooky vibe! Their Nightmare on 39th Street menu consists of five spooky cocktails. I had the Now We Got Bag Blood and the Hit Me With Your Best Shot. Now We Got Bag Blood comes in a bag that looks just like a hospital blood bag! It was a mixture of Red Wine Blend, Apple Brandy, Bourbon, Fall Spice Honey, Pomegranate, and Peach & Pear Cordial. I'm not much of a red wine drinker, but mixed with all those ingredients I couldn't pass it up! Hit Me With Your Best Shot was a Vodka, lemonade, condensed milk and mint cocktail. Then inside of the drink is a syringe filled with Raspberry Coulis. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the Nightmare menu as well as the Autumn menu based drinks (there was pumpkin spiced espresso martini that sounded amazing!) FYI, even with the highly detailed ingredient list for the cocktails, the bartenders and mixologists make sure you get your drink quickly! Cheers!

Love this little place! It's warm, inviting, & trendy. Definitely smaller but still has several seating options - bar, high tops, couches. The cocktails were crafty & creative. Great selection but not too overwhelming of a drink menu. The servers were also genuine & attentive. Will be coming back!

Cute place, dark, ok vibes. Ive come here like 3 times. The drinks are very mehhhh... one was a seasonal harry potter butter beer themed drink which was very cute. The drinks taste meh but looks sooooo pretty & cute. I love that. The bartenders are nice. I would come back only for the seasonal pumpkin espresso martini. I think the only issue is, the drinks dont taste the same each time & need quality control.

The Volker neighborhood on 39th Street has always been a bit eclectic, but I never would have described it as savvy and sophisticated until now - kind of.The bar - whose name is a throwback to KC's Shannon and Pendergast era - does a fantastic job making you feel comfortable. They keep it a little dark, so you can mingle, but not be seen.If you know what I mean. The cocktail menu includes a lot of your favorite go-to drinks. There's a seasonal drink menu, too, if you're feeling a little creative.Beer is available on tap and in cans.Wine and non-alcoholic drinks are, too.The bartenders are super cool. They're happy to answer any questions and mix it up a little because not only do they know their booze, but they know Kansas City. It's the perfect place for happy hour, an after dinner drink or a spot to wax poetic over your favorite dram.

One of the bars that we always wanted to visit and experience your cocktails. This was the day we ended up going there and it was an amazing day. Beautiful weather Halloween was coming on the way so they decorated this place so beautifully. Please check out all my pictures you would see them building this amazing theme of Halloween a spooky environment inside the bar looks amazing. Very beautifully decorated. The interior was awesome. There is an outdoor seating as well. There is a common area. There is also bar seating. There's plenty of seating But this place had amazing drinks beautiful service but no food. You should definitely go there to try their drinks.

I've had Goat & Rabbit on my list for a while now. Maybe it was the gaudy Halloween decor that turned me off...but the drinks and service were undeniably underwhelming. Maybe I'll try it again, but I'm not rushing back.

Walked into Goat & Rabbit with a group of six on a Saturday evening and we were able to grab a table no problem. We only ended up staying for one drink due to it being kind of hot in the building. The drinks were all very unique with fun names! I ordered a Matcha Made in Heaven and it was great! I wish it was slightly more spirit-forward, I couldn't taste any of the tequila. Overall I would return if I was in the area!

Came to Goat and Rabbit for a night cap and the only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer. The drink menu is unique, interesting, and look amazing. Best part is that it tastes incredible too. I'm an espresso girly and appreciate when espresso martinis are made with actual espresso. Not only did Goat and Rabbit delivered on the martini but they demolished. The espresso martini was superb and incredibly strong I even second guessed if I could finish it cause It might make me stay up all night long haha. But I mean take a look at this beauty - the foam, the color, it's an espresso martini that sets the standards for all espresso martinis. Absolutely wonderful. Along with the incredible drinks they also had great service. The team runs like a well oiled machine - you can tell they genuinely care about the establishment and it shows in how they operate!
