I wish I had written a review a couple of years ago, and take him up on his "money back guarantee". Chris did our wedding and I got approx 6 pictures that I liked. He did not take any of me with my mother, none with me and my bridesmaid, I am thinking about this now because we just had family photos and senior pictures done and they are incredible. Makes me very sad there was so little at my wedding, one of the happiest days of my life. He did take great pics of the food

Chris was a wonderful photographer for my husband and I. He listened and followed requests for the special moments we wanted captured. He also was very helpful with the process of creating the album afterword. He is very friendly and for those of us ladies that aren't used to the modelesque bridal portraits of a wedding, he makes you feel super comfortable and beautiful. His photos are timeless and emotional and we did NOT feel pulled away from the wedding at all for staged pictures. Some of the best shots were candid and genuine of the moment.

Chris did a terrific job photographing our wedding this year! He captured many special moments as we prepared for the ceremony, during our service, and throughout the reception. Chris used lots of different lighting techniques and has a eye for great photo opportunities. I absolutely love our wedding album and took Chris' recommendations for it's details. We will treasure these pictures forever. Thank you Chris! ~ Heidi

One thing I have to say about Chris is that he was very respectful and super nice when I first met him. My husband and I got married at a very young age, and, unlike some of the other people I had worked with for my wedding, Chris was one of the few, if not the only person, who didn't scorn at my age. On top of just being an all around great guy with an awesome personality (and alot of fun to work with), his work is amazing. Pictures have always been extremely important to me. They forever capture a certain moment in life that only happens once, so it's needless to say I wanted the perfect photographer I could trust to capture all the wonderful moments for one of the happiest, most important days of my life. I hunted everywhere for a wedding photographer, but I just couldn't find one that felt right. When I found Chris and looked at his website, I prayed that he had my wedding date available. I knew someone with photographs that beautiful wasn't going to be ignored by all the other hopeful brides in need of a fantastic wedding photographer. I had discovered, through the photographs on Glow Imagery's website, that Chris was the only photographer who brought fresh originalty and a talented eye to capture so many special moments in his clients' photographs, which would have otherwise been easily lost in the hustle and bustle of their big day. For instance, during my own wedding, my flower girl came up to me minutes before the ceremony and asked what she was supposed to do when walking down the aisle. I didn't know it until I saw the film later, but Chris had taken a picture of that sweet moment, and it is by far one of my most treasured pictures from the whole wedding. He captured that special memory on camera that would have otherwise only been a vision in my mind. As well as taking wonderful pictures, he is by far the best photographer I came across who didn't want to charge me an arm and a leg. I couldn't believe that such beautiful photos could actually be apart of my wedding budget! I don't live in the Kansas City area anymore, but I can guarantee that when my husband and I want a couple's session of formal photographs, there will be no one else we'll go to until we are visiting home again and are able to work with Chris once more. I must tell you that it would be a mistake to not book Chris for your special day, or any other event. You won't find anyone more talented who takes such amazing photos. He truely has a passion for what he does, and that passion comes more and more to life with each photograph he takes. I highly recommend you not pass up this opportunity to work with Chris. The true definition of a picture is a special moment in life, forever captured to relive over and over again, and that is exactly what Chris will bring you.

Where do I even begin?I found Chris online in a panic when my original wedding photographer had to cancel on us. Originally a dear friend was supposed to shoot our photos, but when she became pregnant and was due weeks before our wedding that just wouldn't work out. I was in quite a tizzy when I found him and I must say he immediately put me at ease, first on email and then over the phone (he even was responding early on a weekend morning which no other photographer did). The other photographers were so standoffish and hesitant to answer my questions. Chris answered them all, and then some, and quickly got me examples of his work to look over. I hated the photos I'd seen in bridal shows with the groomsmen flashing their boxers, I wanted no pictures of us jumping or any other cheesy arrangements. Chris was in total agreement. I appreciated how he showed me photos from a complete wedding rather than just snapshots so I'd have a true idea of what I'd get.Aside from actually getting married that day the photos were the next most important thing to me. We wanted great treasures for years to come and at the late date didn't have an unlimited budget. Chris delivered on both. When we first chatted he told me he liked telling the story of a wedding and he delivered! He captured some amazing moments and some photos that my husband or I wondered about at the time turned out among our favorites. Our wedding was outside, during a cold snap of 39 degrees, and Chris just rolled with it and still got amazing pictures despite the less than ideal conditions. He even kept us laughing during the formal shots. There are so many amazing shots from our wedding that I truly don't know how we're ever going to pick which ones to display. We may have to constantly rotate ones in and out to enjoy them all. Of all our vendors Chris would get the most enthusiastic, no holds barred, two thumbs up. He even had pictures posted on Facebook for our friends and family to see the day we returned from our honeymoon, which was such a nice treat. He even photoshopped the fingerprints in our cake left by a young wedding guest so that we'd have beautiful pictures of our cake before the youngster had to touch it. I've gotten countless compliments on the amazing job he did and how impressed all our friends, family and coworkers were with his photos. Now we just can't wait to see what he does with our wedding album given how wonderful everything else has turned out! We'll definitely be using Chris for any formal photos in the future and hope many others do too. He's an amazing person to work with and we couldn't recommend him any more highly.
