Gj Fish & Chicken

This is a takeout only place, but their chicken is outrageously good and less expensive than the brand-name chicken places. We love it. It's best to order ahead if you don't want a long wait.

My husband picked up about 75 wings today to deliver to my place of employment and to have as his lunch. He was the first one in the store upon opening and they got him in and out. The chicken was outstanding. The seasoning was perfect. The fries were also delicious. We can't wait to go back!

One word....FIREEEEI have to stay far away from this place. It's not good for my waist line lol. If you're in South KC and want some fried chicken and shrimp, come here. Tip: Ask for the lemon pepper seasoning and get some extra after your food is done to sprinkle on top.

This chicken joint is pretty good. They are a fast paced chicken place that gets people in and out. I actually had the fried fish meal. It was good. But they changed something because I liked it more before. At any rate, service was good, location was clean and staff was friendly.

Amazing fried chicken, crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The seasonings are the bomb. Their French fries are good too! Great price for great food!

Food is really good love that they give free rolls the shrimps breading was so nice and fluffy! The fish was classic reminded me of a fish fry. Definitely will be getting food there again. Don't eat chicken really so can't weigh in on that.

Totally A Foodgasm experience. Sent in a Pickup order through Doordash. It's really quick. Got catfish, wings and shrimp!!! I usually worried about fried food being too greasy and too much oil left over in the box. Not happening here with their food ! They did a really good job! Food is amazing and price is reasonable !

The owner is so extremely rude and disrespectful to women. He got upset and yelled at me because I wanted Hot fries. Even an employee said that we needed fresh fries. He handed me a fry to feel the warmth. I said it was barely warm. He then proceeded to yell and when I I asked the lady next to me to feel it, he actually pushed my hand!!! A man was also upset about his food and got upset with the owner and the owner only smiled at him and was nice. All the while he was mugging me. He does the owner behave this way! Completely unprofessional and disrespectful.Never will I visit this place again!!!!! #HesLuckyIveChangedMyWays

I had a door dash delivery from this restaurant. The chicken wings were delicious but my sides were ice cold. I had macaroni and cheese which tasted like it came straight out of a Kraft box. My baked beans was most definitely pork and beans in the can. I will never eat here again. Oh yeah my banana pudding was pudding with 2 vanilla wafers on top. This was the worst lunch experience I've ever had.

The food was okay at best. 25mins is entirely too long to wait. The wings are smalllllllll. They certainly are not jumbo wings. They are like those tiny party wings. And the side dishes are surely from Costco or Restaurant Depot.
