Gilded Lily

So much charm I can't even take it!! I came on a Saturday in a search for Valentine's day gifts, and this place definitely delivered. I walked away with some tea, biscuits and soap. Sounds pretty standard, but they were beautiful/special gifts that I haven't seen/heard before.All 3 floors in the entire French-inspired quirky house is filled with all sorts of fun knickknacks. Even if you don't have an occasion to shop for gifts, it'll be fun to peruse for 30 mins to an hour of your day.

This is the absolutely most adorable shop. You can find anything from homemade goods to vintage antiques to fabulous gourmet foods. A one stop shop for all of your gifting needs. Every nook and granny has something waiting to be discovered. The owners are extremely hands on. Their daughters are involved in the business as well. They travel and select what they will have in their shop as well as test it before they sell it. The know the bones of the house and their hearts are in it.

I finally stopped at Gilded Lily, having just 15 minutes before an appointment. Definitely not enough time and can not WAIT to go back, take my daughter, and "do" the whole charming house/boutique. What a wide variety of beautiful vintage and new niceties that just make me feel like a lady!

I'm not typically a Yelp reviewer, but I want to help get the word out about Gilded Lily in Martin City. I've shopped there several times and always find a treasure. If you're looking for a unique gift or a 1-of-a-kind home decor item, you'll find it here. During my last visit, I found a darling vintage bracelet that was quite a bargain. It's best to take several laps around the store since you'll see something new each time around!
